初めてのマイカーを紹介〜納車珍道中〜

お久し振りです。 更新頻度が少なく申し訳ありません。 絵をアップしていない間何をしていたかと言うと、連載中やりたくても出来なかったことを色々とトライしていました。 その中で一番大きいニュースが車の購入です。 以前から漠然と「東京の街を自由に運転できるようになりたいな」と思いながら連載の忙しさで全く試みる事もできずにいたのですが、この余暇期間を利用してペーパードライバー教習を受け、思い切って新車を購入！晴れて一昨日納車となったのです。 車を決めるまでは本当に悩みました。 色んな車関係のニュースやYouTubeを観て熟考を重ね、試乗をし、やっと海外メーカーのTesla Model3に決めた形です。 家族には「外車!?」と驚かれましたが、色々比較検討した私の感覚では「高級車」という感じではなくて、腕時計に例えるとベンツやランボルギーニがロレックスやカルティエだとすると、TeslaはApple Watchという気がしてるんですよね。Model3は価格設定も他モデルよりお安めですし。 それにソフトウェアのアップデートで車の機能がブラッシュアップしていくというのも魅力でした。 納車は川崎のテスラストアで行われ、そこから約1時間運転して帰ってこなければいけないことに。ちょっと一人では心細かったので、担当さんについて来てもらう事にしました。写真に写っているのは現ドメカノ公式氏です。早速乗り込んで屋外駐車場を何周かした後、意を決して公道へ。 しかし出て早々気づいてしまいました初心者マークをつけ忘れていることに。あのステッカーはこのヨタヨタ運転には必須の免罪符！すぐ傍に寄せてバーンと貼り付け再出発です。 この日は担当さんを講談社に送るということの他に、目黒で打ち合わせをしていたもう一人の担当さんを拾うというミッションもありました。そこに行くまでのナビは高速道路を使わない下道でのルートを選んでいたんですが、私が道を間違え高速にライドオン。「ま、まぁこの方が早いだろうし！」と気を取り直して運転していると高速から降りるべき分岐を間違え2回ほど華麗にスルー。目黒付近で降りるはずが気付けば新宿のビル群が見え出し、かなりの大回りでナビ計算では30分くらいの距離をたっぷり1時間かけて夜の首都高をドライヴすることになりました。 助手席の担当さんは超不安だったと思う…。 その後はもう一人の担当さんと合流。3人でピザ屋でごはんを食べ合流した担当さん(運転経験豊富)に的確なナビをいただき無事講談社に送り届けることができました。 帰宅は22時回ってましたね。ドメカノチームにとっては大冒険な夜でした。 まだ目的地に行くのには曲がるポイントを間違えたりでスムーズなドライブとはいかなさそうですが、それでも焦らず安全運転を心がけて頑張っていきます。 It has been a long time. Take the plunge and buy a new car! It was fine and the car was delivered the day before yesterday. I was really worried about choosing a car. After watching various car-related news and YouTube, pondering and test-driving, I finally decided on the overseas manufacturer Tesla Model 3. I was surprised by my family as "foreign car !?", but in my sense of comparing various things, it is not like a "luxury car". I liken a car to a wristwatch, and if Benz and Lamborghini are Rolex and Cartier, then Tesla feels like an Apple Watch. And Model 3 is cheaper than other models in terms of pricing. It was also attractive to be able to brush up the functions of the car by updating the software. The car was delivered at the Tesla store in Kawasaki, and I had to drive for about an hour from there and come back. I was a little lonely, so I decided to have the editor follow me. After that, the editor who joined me (he has a lot of driving experience) gave me an accurate navigation and I was able to deliver it to the office safely. I came home around 22:00. It was a great adventure night for the Domecano team. It is still difficult to drive smoothly to the destination, but I will do my best to drive safely without being impatient.
