The 2038-C is a Specialist-type unit, designed as a supervisor to your other, smaller bots. His generously proportioned buffer allows him to store and process huge volumes of chemical data that would be far beyond the capabilities of other devices, and his secondary port - that's the one that sticks out - can accommodate data transfers with all but the most compact bots.
This one has been nicknamed "Coinpurse" by the humans who work with him. If you can't already guess why, it's got a lot to do with his big, soft, jiggly sheath. π
