Hazel gets nuts

So I'm getting close to 100 renders... And I'm still in the party scene LOL. A) This is probably going to be a long comic! And B) I might have to turn this into a two-parter. I feel like the flashbacks are more than enough material for a full chapter, and so is the current day growing stuff, so I might split it. Either that, or I'll cut down my plans for the modern-day stuff and make that bit very short and sweet. As much as I was looking forward to doing a comic with an older, curvier Hazel... there's a lot more potential in the flashback part story-wise, IMO, and I definitely plan on doing more comics with older Hazel anyway!
The pacing might be a little unusual, with the early scenes stretched out, and the later stuff going by fast... but even if I didn't plan on the party scene going on for quite this long, that's at least partly intentional! I wanted everything to feel like it was escalating really quickly once the cops show up, and Hazel freaks out.

In theory that's not a bad idea, but I have the story pretty much mapped out and it wouldn't really work well like that IMO

2024-06-14 22:07:48 +0000 UTCBecause you didn't start this as a chronological thing, it doesn't have to continue in a chronological order. You could do half of the flashback and half of the future stuff in this part and the other half of both in the next part.
