I finally got started working on the comic in earnest. I got a late start but I've got 20 renders done and plenty more queued. This scene takes an annoyingly long time to render but that's how it be sometimes.

I had the # of samples set higher than it needed to be for the scene. Usually you need high settings to not get a lot of grain but for whatever reason that wasn't the case with this one
