Finished rendering the highway scene last night! I think I should be able to release the comics this month without any real problems. Worst case scenario, I might have to release the final version of Kaylee 21 a little bit late, like I've done with some other chapters of Kaylee... Or possibly split up this into two chapters.

I am planning to go back to doing slightly shorter comics either way... Releasing two 200+ page comics every month barely gives me enough time to stay caught up, and I haven't had much time to play around with side projects like animation. I think ~150 pages is a good thing to aim for, and if it goes over, it goes over. The current render count is a little over 150 pages at the moment, so I might actually end things with the highway scene... in which this would be a preview for Kaylee 22. On the other hand, the first 50 pages don't have much action, so I'll probably at least include the downtown scene!

This is a test of Krystal, in what will probably be downtown Portland... which looks a lot like a foggier version of downtown Los Angeles... Which really looks a lot more like downtown Brooklyn or Chicago. There just aren't that many good city sets for DAZ, unfortunately, so the handful of really good ones tend to show up over and over!

I forgot to make the big crowd visible, so it looks a bit sparse, but I like how the scene is shaping up!
