I might have fried my 3090 TI rendering Kaylee 19

The last render I did was the last render this chapter... which had similar lighting to the above render. I have the render, the one that crashed it was just a slightly altered version.
If it did get fried, I hope it was worth it! I knew I was pushing it hard with Kaylee 19, but I didn't know I was pushing it THAT hard!
I got the PC to start up with my old video card, which all but confirms that the issue is caused by the video card. I'm hoping that it's something more easily fixed, like the connectors not being 100% connected. That's happened to me before, but I'm not sure. I disconnected the 3090 TI and reconnected it a few times, and nothing changed.
The PC kept crashing while I was rendering, and it might have been because the card was overheating. It really SHOULDN'T have been overheating, since I was heavily limiting the voltage and GPU heat, but maybe those methods aren't as reliable as I thought it was.
Worst case scenario, Kaylee 19 is in a place where I could call it finished. I've got 150 renders, and it works as a complete comic. The only thing that it's really missing are any POV shots from little people, and any vore scenes, but those aren't strictly necessary. Also, I could try to render with my 1080 TI... but that could mean that I fry both cards!
Definitely a cool visual!

She just slammed into the ground really hard. I'm sure that it isn't realistic, but it was a cool enough visual that I decided to go for it.

Was Kaylee hit by a nuke or something?

Yh, it's a similar kind of thing I was getting on my first. What brand is it. My second was a Founders and didn't do it. I mean I only had to get around 800 watts PSU. Hmmm that's rather high your one I'm thinking maybe some PSU are better than others then maybe. I know it's a long shot but try swapping to another PSU or raising watts. If one of those doesn't fix it, it's highly likely to be a inferior batch of GPU. I'd claim the warranty before it's too late if none of those solutions work.
Low probability secondary hypothesis if none of those work something strange going on with mobo have you tried using another slot.

I did wonder about that! And that is what happened. Computer stays "on" (the power light is on, it sounds like it's running) but the screen goes black. I have a 1000 watt power supply and I thought that would be enough, but maybe not? Just looking at the components, it should be sufficient!
I'll also try disconnecting some extra stuff I don't need and see if that helps.

If you've got the money buy another 3090 ti or 4090 on Amazon prime (for ultra fast delivery). While you send in the other for warranty. If the card ends up not working you're gonna have to do it anyway and if they find it to be broken they give you refund so win win.

I think you need to upgrade your power supply to higher wattage. I had similar issues I sometimes just AI upscale images to massive proportion and my first 3090 had similar problems. These cards can pull alot of power at peak loads so buy one PSU with about 50 watts or 100 watts more. There's a type of crash which is basically happening when you drawing too much power, usually your pc will just instantly turn off with no screen of death and then restart or you have to turn it on that's a power shortage crash. Also I think there's bad and good batches sometimes, my second 3090 didn't have any of the problems my first one did.

POV from little people and vore scenes are by far my favorite parts 😭 but I’m definitely not complaining, gotta make do with the circumstances that we have, and the renders you’ve posted so far have looked great!
