Anyone recognise this nymph frolicking off the west coast of New Zealand by Mokau? A long way from home, or is it for the adventuresome!

I got to meet the woman who lead the decriminalisation of sex work 20 years ago in New Zealand, Dame Catherine Healy. Yes Queen Elizabeth 'Dame-ed' her, just like you'd 'Sir' a man (Sir Paul McCarthy). I enjoyed an evening with Catherine, who heads up the New Zealand Sex Workers Collective and does a good job of educating for sex workers rights and protections. She loved my play Naked at My Age and how it de-stimatizes and makes normal, adult consensual sex work. She invited a Maori sex worker to introduce my Wellington show. The Queen got it right this time!

She canceled and went back to England with her tail between her legs. The Wellington folks celebrated by coming out two thousand strong in support of rights for Tran-sexuals. Tiny county, big spirit!
