2025-08-09 17:43:47 +0000 UTCPokemon Horizons is so genuinely good that it's criminal that so many are sleeping on it just because Ash isn't the MC anymore. The writers have so much more creative freedom with this series than the previous one because they don't need to concern themselves too much with promoting the video games and adapting their plots. Instead it has a plot that's original to itself, no getting gym badges, no entering tournaments, no goal to catch them all. The current plot of the show has our main crew being framed as the bad guys around the world by the villains because random wild Pokémon are going berserk so they're going around trying to get evidence to clear their names and fix the problem.

2025-08-08 14:42:35 +0000 UTCSilent Witch has been a pleasant surprise for me this anime season, I think it's the only thing I'm currently watching that isn't a 2nd season of something I watched previously. I might be biased since it was the first Gundam series I watched, but Gundam 00 season 1 has the best openings of any Gundam in my opinion. Daybreak's Bell and Ash Like Snow are both absolute bangers. (Season 2's openings are good too, they're just a bit more generic.)
