Honestly that was such a pivotal moment. I really thought Stroheim was just gonna be one of those shitty characters that are leaders. And I was rooting for Santana to absolutely destroy him immediately. But then towards the end my reaction to Stroheim completely changed. I agree he's a bad guy for sure. We can hate him all we want rightfully so but man did that guy put up a fight in the end

2025-08-06 00:27:19 +0000 UTCI do like how Joseph doesn't just automatically assume Santana is a bad guy - which is fair enough, given that all he's seen him do so far is kill a bunch of literal nazis. Then again, right afterwards the story makes us kind of root for one of those nazis. Stroheim is a bad dude for sure, but you really can't help but respect him.
