After watching these last 3 episodes, I can tell why you were waiting for this moment since the very beginning. This was truly the peak of Keijo and it blew me away more than any other episode has in the past. Loved every reference, animation, and just EVERYTHING about this show!!! π Also I had no idea this anime just started in the middle of the manga that's interesting. I did hear a lot about Yuri on Ice way back so that makes sense. But this is on the degen side so I don't see a fair comparison. People not giving this a chance because it's degen is unfortunate. Shame they're missing out on such peak cuz anime like this or prison school are so damn fun because of the shock factor. I love the degen stuff but what I love more is seeing how unhinged an anime can get. They just surprise you with the wildest stuff. It's peak comedy π€£ Another degen anime done from the collection. It will truly be missed. A solid 10/10. I hope they bring it back for another season someday π

(Hip of Babylon in Japanese) Although it actually works like Unlimited Blade Works with the whole copying the but like copying the swords. I remember I had the exact same reaction as you when I first saw it in 2016 Nah they probably did not have to contact Type Moon since it falls under parody law "Do you have enough butts Queen of Schemes" 100% a reference to Shirou's iconic line: "Do you have enough weapons in stock King of Heroes" Nah fire the reff, rigged I say Rigged!!!! "You caught me" was wild LMAO Attack on Titan reference was great The swimsuit sun blocking was an amazing play, Nah the combining was crazy, I completely forgot about it, although I will say they have to have perfect teamwork to pull that off, got to be completely in sync iai is the art of the quick draw in sword fighting, you know that thing in samurai movies where they quickly draw their sword slash and then sheath it. I'm 99% sure the silver hair is just a visual cue to us the audience that Kaya is in control no Maya, I think everyone else just sees her hair like normal Did she just give her lifeforce like Zepeli did for Jojo?! Oh so she used her nipples to hit Nozomi's pressure points, that's low key insane, I totally forgot that happened That final clash was peak, absolute cinema So I believe the coach adopted her, she was in an orphanage, thats where the flashback was set, her split personality came from her og parents abusing her, The anime totally ends with a sequel hook, it adapts the first chapter of the Debut War Arc and teases all the future players in that arc, the manga had 8 arcs left/ 87 chapters left to adapt, the anime adapted chapters 35-87 I found out while looking this up that the anime actually starts in the the middle of volume 4, the manga actually shows Nozomi going through exams to get into the Keijo school which is where she had her og battle with Kawai and where she became friends with Miyata, the exam arc was the first 3 volumes. The manga is over, it ended in 2017. I think this anime went super under the radar because it aired at the same time as Yuri on Ice which was insanely popular in the sports anime spaces and kinda overshadowed everything else, especially this since it is very degen which causes a lot of people to write it off.
