Prince performed a medley of songs including his own hits "Let's Go Crazy" and "Baby I'm a Star," covers of Queen's "We Will Rock You," Ike & Tina Turner's "Proud Mary," Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower" (in the style of Jimi Hendrix), and Foo Fighters' "Best of You," concluding with his iconic anthem "Purple Rain" during a downpour. The full list is actually a bit extensive We Will Rock You": (Queen) "Let's Go Crazy" (Prince) "Baby I'm a Star" (Prince) "Proud Mary": (Ike & Tina Turner) "All Along the Watchtower": (Jimi Hendrix) "Best of You": (Foo Fighters) "Purple Rain": (Prince)

2025-07-28 12:22:46 +0000 UTCJosuke Higashikata, the protagonist of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable, is heavily inspired by the musician Prince. Akira Otoishi is heavily inspired by the band Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix among others. Esidisi is heavily inspired by the band ACDC as it is directly translated from its Japanese variation. These are just the basics.

2025-07-27 20:58:37 +0000 UTCAt 14 years old Prince had mastered EVERY form of musical instrument (and i mean EVERY) and had already written 2 albums. He was exceptionally talented and versatile songwriter, singer, dancer, guitarist, capable of playing multiple instruments and excelling in various genres. He was talented in Jazz. Blues. Rock. Pop. Disco. Country and many other genres. He was in his mid 30's Eraly 40's here. Purple Rain is considered his MOST popular single ever released. When he died it was found he had written and recorded roughly 8,000 unreleased songs which equates to over 200 albums.
