2025-07-27 12:16:33 +0000 UTCI think it's pretty safe to say this is the most iconic fight in Bleach. Both in terms of the crazy power escalation (Ulquiorra's Segunda Etapa release, Ichigo's Vasto Lorde form) and the emotional ending (Ichigo's horror and guilt at realising his inner hollow nearly killed Uryuu; Ulquiorra finally understanding the meaning of a human heart before fading away). Btw the reason I haven't been finding Bleach AMVs to send to you is that like 80% of them are centred around this fight, and the other 20% are TYBW focused. So, I'm definitely going to try to find some good ones for a future Patreon request stream.

I was thinking the same like why do you want to go up to where ichigo and ulquiorra are like wtf are you about to help him with π I actually do really like that Ulqiorra and Orihime ship too cuz it has such good development. Think about it. Ulqiorra abducted her. Gave her the most brutal speech. Told her about ripping her heart out cuz he doesn't even understand what that means or what feelings are. And at the end she was the reason he had such an amazing character development where it felt like he finally understood humans. But you know what, that moment wouldn't have happened if Orihime didn't involve herself in the fight. So in that case she actually wasn't useless. But of course combat wise, definitely did nothing. Oh but wait.....her cries were the reason ichigo woke up π so I guess she served a purpose there too? I feel like her involvement can definitely feel forced sometimes but maybe that's the entire plot. Her being the reason Ulqiorra started to change. Her being the reason Ichigo woke up from the dead. It's her determination of not giving up just like ichigo. Even Ulqiorra was surprised like why are you still trying to fight Ichigo?! And I think Orihime learnt from him a lot as we see. She even says she feels useless so she wants to feel useful for once. She's just trying her best but unfortunately, she can't do much. When you said "Orihime said I got to help. No, you can't" I literally laughed out loud ππ€£π€£ this was one of the best comments I've ever read. Definitely will talk about this again in the future

2025-07-26 04:13:52 +0000 UTCAs an Orihime hater, this is why i don't like her. Without enough strength or power, but keep jumping into the front line and does nothing but yelling. Since the very beginning of the soul society arc. She needs Ishida to protect her from Mayuri. She can't heal her ally during the fight, and her sheild is not strong enough either. She just support the team after the fight is end. What if they die during the fight. She just becomes totally useless. When the first time Ulquiorra and Yammy attack the city, Chad and she just directly go to them but not waiting for Urahara or someone else to support. I doubt she can't even against a menos grande at that moment. What she does is just putting herself in danger. And she ended up revealing her ability to Aizen. I'll say Aizen might find out anyway, but the problem is her decision-making. If you can't heal during the fight, then what's the point jumping into the battlefield. You can just act like the No.4 Squad and staying at the back. And during she training with Rukia in soul society, they suddenly been told arrancars are attacking the city, and Orihime just said I got to help. No, you can't. Can't you just compare your strength to the other. All she did was just make trouble and move the plot. If I have to pick, I'll choose Nel instead of Orihime. Yes, you love Ichigo, I know. But can yon please stop involving to something you can't handle. And for Ulquiorra, many ppl coupling him with Orihime. I kinda prefer this cp also. I'll say Ulquiorra is similar to Byakuya when he first comes out. He keeps developing and understanding what's the meaning of heart thats Orihime taught him. And that's the moment he starts changing from emotionless. What a shame he just ended here.
