PATREON REQUESTS GAMING MUSIC STREAM!

This was so fun and I got to discover some absolute PEAK gaming music! Definitely will be doing more of these soon. I'll be making another post later today for some MORE patreon requests so get ready :)

Mass Effect and the FGO/Mahoyo collab were both mine 😁 I'm glad people liked them. The Mass Effect trilogy is probably my favourite game series of all time too. I don't think any game has ever made me cry as much as ME3 (not even 'single manly tear' crying either, we're talking full on sobbing 😭). Honestly there are so many great OSTs in the series that it was hard to pick just one.

I really loved Manon's voice and this was the first time I heard anything from PSO2. Definitely would have to check out more especially when I do the next gaming music stream soon 😁

Whoever requested the Mass Effect song is goated, shit got me in my feels, also I do recommend Mass Effect, the trilogy is my favorite gaming trilogy of all time I don't play FGO JP so I did not realize the final battle theme for the collab is an instrumental version of the Witch on the Holy Night ED, thats fucking awesome! The Kingdom Hearts Song was mine, the song is the Boss Battle theme for the Final Boss of Kingdom Hearts 3's DLC(The hardest Boss in the series history). Kingdom Hearts is Disney x Final Fantasy, characters from both franchises show up along with a lot of original characters, it is made by the company that makes Final Fantasy. The game-play you looked at is from the first game which is from 2002. The game this song is from is from 2020, the gameplay for that one looks like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRKXwtDTtew (the actual boss fight)

I recommended the PSO2NGS song. Yes its a song about loss, and this is the second time its played in the game. Unlike most game osts, In pso2 and ngs, the songs are considered cannon and are sung by the characters in game. In this case its a song of remembrance for fallen soldiers in a war, sung originally by the chief of one of the areas. At the end of the first act, another character, Manon, who has been with you through the act, sings this song as the credits start to roll. Its not the end of the game, just that section of the game. I personally prefer Manon's version, which is why I recommended it, because she has a bit of a deeper and more somber voice than the original, which I think served the song much better. I would of also recommended some boss songs as well, but they tend to be pretty long because its one of those games with huge boss fights that take some time. The one I would of recommended the most is "Dark to Light" from the base PSO2. Its the final bosses song and the full version is 15mins. Its sung from the perspective of the main characters, The player char and the three heroines of the three main acts of the game, singing about how far they've come and that this battle won't be the end. Really love it. But yeah, its made to span the full boss fight time hence it's length. I never see anyone reacting to the music of PSO and it has a very distinct sound to it. I highly recommend checking out more. Song of Mourning was more subdued due to the subject, but the other songs tend to be super over the top scifi ballads.

I can imagine that's always the best feeling 🤣

I love that whenever I'm torn on what to recommend for these, someone else ends up submitting the thing that I wanted to include but didn't 😄- I'm Back (To Rise) was the other song I was strongly considering. I ended up not going with it because I haven't played Killer Instinct, I just know the OSTs, and I decided to prioritise tracks from games I've actually played.

That's interesting cuz it seems like it has some deep lore which I never expected at least based on how the gameplay looked!

I want to add something i forgot. Undertale and Deltarune are different, they are different universes but related at the same time. It's like comparing Fate/Stay night and Fate/Apocrypha. Undertale has 3 different routes, each one being really different from each other. Deltarune is divided by chapters (that's why you saw there written "chapter 2", because the ost is from that chapter), so far only 4 chapters out of 7 got released.
