Thanks for the essay cuz I absolutely love reading all the comments! I didn't realize Jojo was out for so long that's wild. Has it ever been in the talks of the big 3 or big 4 anime? Ayee seeing Kamikaze Doga mentioned was nice cuz of that star wars reference. Ah man I love that first episode so much!!! You don't have to tell me which one's tho I think I'll check out all the jojo themes next after the endings. Do you think they'll have spoilers tho? Cuz I've never looked up themes and I'm not sure how it'll be with the names and stuff of the characters. Idk how many themes there are but if there's a lot, I could do like a protagonist version then an antagonist version. Let me know if you have any link to a decent playlist. So the first shot of the first opening is a flash through of all the Jojo protagonists from Part 6-1 in reverse order, when this anime came out in 2012 the manga was actively on part 8. The first opening song is called JoJo (The Fate of that Blood), and intentionally has that style of music to reflect the types of openings that would have been out when part 1 started in 1987 The studio who makes the anime and the opening for parts 1-3 are different. The anime is made by David Production, and the openings are made by kamikaze doga (the same studio who did the first episode of star wars visions, the black and white one) I would not really compare it Dragon Ball outside of the fact that they are both battle shounens Jojo Op's get special versions when shit goes down in the show with sound effects or differences, its what makes them peak ZAAAA WORLDO! (Yes it means The World) There is so much symbolism in the Jojo Openings, I could write an essay on each one (I'll refrain cause spoilers, but expect to get them after you finish each part in the show lol) Jojo can get very gorey, there are a few ep's in part 3 that fucked me up a bit with the type of gore that showed, Jojo's is a light horror series (particularly in the first 3 parts) Giorno's theme is up there as one of the best anime themes of all time I swear The Jostar family (the Jojos) have a star birthmark, its their defining trait Its funny you called that guy archer Emiya Alter, because people called Archer Emiya Alter that character(Puuchi) when he first got revealed My favorite opening is the third Part 4 Opening (the one that goes Breakdown Breakdown, and has the rewind effect)
