Mmmm that's true! It also makes sense why Kensei was totally normal afterwards as well cuz he never meant it towards Gojo and was just talking in general. He's valid for that 💯 I love that message too and everyone goes through this at some level for sure including myself. I personally never told anyone that I do content creation or stream or make youtube videos or react to anime cuz I thought people would find it weird and cringy. This mentality was stuck with me till the longest until I realized my parents would tell others about what I did and other people would genuinely be impressed. I found so many family friends irl who told me they always wanted to do stuff like this but never had the courage to so they were genuinely impressed. It's all in our heads almost all the time

2025-07-08 17:00:18 +0000 UTCIdk if chat pointed this out but Kensei wasn't saying Gojo was creepy, all he said was "How do you know how to do makeup? You're a guy. Guys don't usually do that stuff, right?" but in Gojo's mind, he was flashing back to Non calling him creepy when they were kids (that's what the writing on screen was). I think Kensei was just genuinely curious, but worded it badly, and Gojo initially took it as an insult/callout because of his trauma from back then. I really love that scene though, specifically Gojo realising that nobody there is weirded out by him, they just see him as normal, and maybe all this time he was worried it was just his own internalised shame and insecurity. That maybe there are actually tons of people out there who would accept him and be friends with him. It really struck a chord with me as someone who had hardly any friends in school, then suddenly got a big group of friends in uni.
