Oh man pre 2016 days for degen anime fans was peak 🤣 Your requests have always blown my expectations away and turned more people here into fans of the anime so I already know whatever comes next will be a banger regardless. From the list of shows you mentioned, I only know Food Wars & Kill La Kill. I actually didn't know kill la kill was a degen anime 🤔 Also no pressure you don't need to research much just go with what your heart desires. It can even be something totally different from degen stuff since it is your request after all 👍 And yeah 12 episodes seems to be the new standard nowadays for a lot of anime not just degen. I remember watching Prison School like maybe 5 years ago and I couldn't believe my eyes when it came to the animation style. Idk if you've seen it but it's genuinely one of my all time favorite shows. It's also pretty short tho but man it's so good! I might have to actually watch it again at some point

Nah the 2013 subs be wild, teach me Cryptic-Sensei! Better Fanservice animation? Hmmm I can think of some that have more detail, action wise nothing immediately springs to mind, but maybe I can research for the next request The Squad is in the Elite Class, lets go!!! This episode acted as mid season finale from a story point Degen/Ecchi anime that have a first season that is at least 24 eps and are good: - Kill la Kill - Food Wars - To Love Ru - Needless - Shuffle! Realized after typing this all of these are pre 2016 so yeah your observation that they dont do this anymore stands. There are a good amount of Degen anime that have multiple 12 ep seasons but 24 seems to be gone

I deadass don't even know what to comment, it's all too good 😭 Also, you're right; this anime is waay ahead of its time and it NEEDS more episodes. 70% of the anime that come today don't even come close to this anime's top-tier quality.
