Oh wow I didn't know she actually developed a syndrome cuz my first thought was that she somehow dyed her hair on the ship. Maybe with the help of Brian like with some of his supplies or tricks. Cuz every strand of her hair was so flashy and silver all of a sudden. But I'll definitely look into it! I'm so glad to hear about their future that's so wholesome and the ending I've been rooting for. I'm sure the light novel was more intense and dark since even mangas for almost every show are like that while the anime is heavily censored.

Unfortunately I have to work today and doing a comparison to the light novel is going to take a long time so I’ll post that later. I feel like the ending arc of the anime matched the characters they were in the anime (they are a little different in the light novel). Seeing Cordelia and Brain fighting the ministry of occult was amazing since how the plays out in the original is different. Plus it feels fitting that the ones who managed to kill the grey wolves were members of another mystical bloodline. You got the fairy tail book characters waving goodbye on the head. It's the ending of an old age giving way to a new one. Also for Victoiques hair turning white it’s called Marie Antoinette syndrome. It's when due to stress, trauma, or illness one’s hair turns white overnight it’s actually very fascinating. I highly recommend looking into it. If you’ve seen Tokyo ghoul it’s what happens to that main character as well. So I’ll just explain the Kujo leg situation here. I feel like the director wanted to make things more dramatic in the anime but his legs were just pinned under something that’s why he couldn’t move them or feel them. In the light novel he does injure his legs in the war and has a significant limp when he walks in the future. I also like the fact that you can see who they affected and change each other in the anime. Old Viqtoique would never feel fear of death and would be too proud to grovel. I could legitimately see her scoffing at someone about to kill her. Kujo on the other hand(at least in the anime) was the type to bend to authority or give in fairly easily. Ignoring a superior officer command and getting beat up all night just to keep is unthinkable for Kujo from the beginning of the story. Seeing such a clear growth in character for both of them is a beautiful thing. I’ll go over the changes form the light novel in a later comment but the anime was surprisingly hopeful during the ending compared to the novel while reading the entire time I just kept feeling a rock in the pit of my stomach I’ll go into the happenings of all the characters but the novel was much more dark and that matches the was going on the in the background. I’ll just let you know what happens In the future since you asked. After meeting up in Japan they stay there for a few years before moving to New York where they establish the Grey wolf detective agency with Victorique as the detective and Kujo supporting her and working as a reporter. If you like, when I go over the differences in the light novel I go into further depth about their live in America which is really interesting. Oh yeah they also get married in 1934.
