2025-06-05 19:42:42 +0000 UTCIt's interesting to look at Nnoittra's flashback here (and Zommari's rant to Byakuya a couple of episodes ago) and compare it to how Rukia described a Soul Reaper's duty to purify hollows, back in the first story arc. Nnoittra's "In our existence, there's no such thing as salvation" is a line that really made me think about how Arrancar perceive their existence as hollows. From the Soul Reapers' perspective, hollows are already dead, and killing them with a zanpakuto is a form of purification, ridding them of the sins they acquired after death and allowing them to pass on to either Soul Society or Hell based on how they lived. But to the Arrancar, the hollows, it's just like dying. I'd bet if you asked Zommari or Nnoittra how they'd feel about being killed by a Soul Reaper versus, say, being erased by a Quincy, I doubt they'd see any difference. I'm not sure where I was going with this, it just made me think.

The captains better got some sort of secret plan for him or they're fucked 💀 (Quick side note: goddaaaam, that blonde espada's got me acting up). Alright since we've seen a bunch of espadas, I'll try to list off every espada we have seen so far and their rankings off the top of my head rq: 1. ? 2. ? 3. ? (if Nel's number is still accurate, she goes here) 4. Ulquiorra 5. Noitorra 6. Grimmjow 7. That guy with a lot of eyes who fought Byakuya (I don't remember his number, but this is the only spot that makes sense for him, cuz ain't no way he's top 3) 8. Pink hair zesty dude (long ahh name) 9. Aaroniero Aarou-something-something (tongue twisting ahh name) 10. Yammy I don't think Nel's number is accurate anymore, cuz if she's 3, then that means she can solo Ulquiorra, and bro has way too much aura for me to believe that. I think she's more around Noitorra's level, since she overwhelmed him when he was in his base form. Hold up. Wait a minute. After writing it all out, I just realized that that means Aizen brought with him the top 3 strongest Espadas. Espadas 1-3 + their subordinates + Tosen + Gin + Aizen... bro, we're cooked 😭 Also, the part where Orihime lip syncs with the ending song goes hard ngl.
