It's my first magical anime so I wasn't aware that was normal. I honestly don't mind the chill episodes in any anime since they're in almost everything I've watched but what surprised me was that it was consecutive 5 episodes back to back which is pretty much half the season. I guess the pacing is different for this anime cuz I assume the next 5 would just straight up be action. Glad to see you're watching this along through my videos!! 🙌

2025-05-28 09:18:09 +0000 UTCThought I'd go ahead and say one more thing. This isn't filler. Nothing so far has been. It feels like filler because you are thinking of this series in the wrong way. This is a Magical Girl series. In this genre of anime, there's always a focus on the daily life aspect of the main characters, as well as their powers and battles. These last few episodes just happens to be the daily life segment. Beyond that, they do serve a very clear purpose. You might not of caught it yet, but season 1 focused on Illya, season 2 Kuro, Now It's Miyu's turn. These five episodes have been showing something very important. Miyu is out of place. Common things that anyone should know, she doesn't. These episodes are building this up. And no one call this spoilers because I've only ever seen the first season before watching this reaction. So we're going through this together.

2025-05-28 04:28:19 +0000 UTCJust to add on to what others have said. The Yukata wasn't "Pajamas" like it said in the subs. It originated as a bathrobe for the nobility and wealthy. As it became more widely spread, it started seeing more use, especially in the humid and hot summers. Once it reached that point, wearing traditional underwear was common, and of course, normal underwear in modern times. Really, only when using it as it's original purpose, a bath robe, is no underwear the proper way. The no underwear thing is a common trope/joke that shoes up a lot in anime. Especially more ecchi ones. That's how the idea continues to persist. Also, please watch Made in Abyss. Failure to comply will result in a reduction of Luvia's screen time and an increase in Kuro's. This is your only warning. I'm joking of course, but I do want to see you react to it.
