2025-04-30 23:21:42 +0000 UTCThe reason gae bolg can do a double KO on Fragarach is because it reverse the cause and the result. Normally, we "hit something" after making a "thrust". So if a hit is observated, there must be a cause. which mean an action is 100% happened. In this case, the "thrust" will be erased. The "hit" also won't come out. However, Gae bolg change the sequence into "a hit"-->then a "thrust". So if a "thrust" have been observed, the "hit" happened already. That why gae bolg should be 100% hit. In this case, even the "thrust" have been erased, the "hit" happen before that. So it will still hit Bazett.

A spoiler of Bazett but since Prillya is almost a spoiler of hollow ataraxia Bazett so I guess is safe. Fragarach is a noble phantasm of Bazett‘s family. Fragarach normally look like a round shape of stone. When it activate, the stone will float behind her and stand by for her to release. When Bazett release, the blade will come out from the stone. To fully release Fragarach, it have to be under a special situation which is your enemy using their strongest move. If not, it will only be a low rank np. Once Fragarach release, It reverse the action and the result of the attack to make Fragarach always hit first. After Fragarach hit, the fact of enemy's attack will be erased. And of course Bazett wont get hit by an attack which never happen. However, it is hard to tell which one is the strongest move. for example the strongest attack of gilgamesh will be EA but not the sword from gate of babylon. The strongest attack not only refer to np which mean normal mage or human can also get hit by the effect of Fragarach. Also, it is easy to defeat Bazett if your physical status is good enough to finish her by normal attack.
