This observation has been beat into the ground at this point, but it's pretty worth mentioning. At the end, Frieren's flashback about tearful goodbyes, when Himmel turns and his cape billows behind him? We see that same snippet in episode 1 at Himmel's funeral, just before Frieren starts crying.
