2025-03-14 08:53:10 +0000 UTCShiki glazing session I won't talk about story beats: Even though MP uses Satsujinki Shiki (post-training arc Shiki) as the example, Shiki was already doing some crazy shit in Tsukihime. For example, remember in UBW where Archer teleported behind Lancer in their first fight? That's how fast Shiki can (theoretically) move/react. Mind you, no grail assistance, no magecraft no spirit origin, just pure muscle power. It's just that it causes a lot of strain on him since humans shouldn't be able to move like that, but you still see glimpses of it in Arcueid's and Kohaku's routes. This is before the manga adaptation was exaggerating everyone's strength, with Shiki basically moving like Rider in HF. And this is before his training arc where he figures out what he's capable of doing that and works on it (you see him in the FATE/TSUKIHIME video he's the one with bandages on his head and fighting Archer). All of this, on top of having the most effective killing method in TM, since his eyes specifically can kill EVERYTHING about a person. It's that strain I mentioned that's why he's overlooked enough to make this list, since you neither see him do this very often nor can he hold himself in a fight. But Shiki's not a fighter, he's a killer. Think of him as a nuke, single-use, worthless in any other scenario and difficult to produce. But in terms of its ability to kill, there's no contest.
