Oh man you couldn't have described it any better. The more I watch Bleach, the more I realize that it's NEVER too late to start this masterpiece. I was told that for some old hit anime like Bleach, you just had to be there to experience it's true hype. And while that may be true, I can't imagine being an anime fan and NOT having experienced Bleach. Also, just as an individual, I really do think Bleach is the anime for me. I love Naruto it'll forever be my #1 but when it comes to Bleach, everything about that anime kinda represents me in a way. I mean just look at the colors. Black/white/red are my go to for clothes and that's basically ichigo's outfit and damn near everyone else's. I've always been into fashion too and man do I appreciate their drip. Anyway this was supposed to be about Ikkakus bankai π so yess he definitely has one of the most memorable and iconic moments now

2025-01-24 22:14:20 +0000 UTCEven though it's not the strongest, I do think Ikkaku's Bankai reveal is one of the most iconic. It has everything a good Bankai reveal should: - comes out of nowhere (seriously, before this we had no indication Ikkaku even had a Bankai) - badass line about how he didn't want to have to use it/wanted to keep it secret - big dramatic smoke effect that slowly clears to show what the Bankai looks like - totally turns the tables on a foe that was kicking his ass up to that point - immediately followed by mid-fight backstory flashback explaining an important part of his character I'll never get tired of gushing about how scenes like this are the reason Bleach is the most hype shounen of all time.
