Fate/Stay Night Episode 10 (UNCUT REACTION)

THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM...

Such a rare moment to see in Fate

@14:26 bruh... I don't remember but damn, the siblings are just hanging out, no battles, nor strife.... just chilling the afternoon.... I wonder if the visual novel will have this in Saber's route?

@ 11:08 image a girl doing that but literally falling for your dick instead, lol.

Like, rewatching Shirou vs Archer's battle, you can see when their swords clash, you see Shirou's Magic circuits react. Archer breaks Shirou's Kanshou and Bakuya and then Shirou creates a much stronger replica than before.

Like, yeah, there's a limit to how many magic circuits a person's body can handle, but you'd rather kill yourself or burn yourself out before reaching anywhere close to that. Examples being the homunculi like Illya or Sieg from Apocrypha, their bodies are composed of around 70% entirely out of Magical Circuits and have enormous mana storages, and that's exactly why they have such short lifespans.

WOW. This analogy was absolutely perfect and I had so much fun reading this. The only question that popped up in my head was since Shirou has to basically create a new magic circuit whenever he uses magic, is there a limit to it? Like imagine the tank running out of space to install more faucets... Also, this is exactly why I definitely plan on rewatching everything at some point so I can view it from a more informed perspective and notice things that the average first time viewer would never. Thanks again!

Okay, so an important piece of new information we get in this episode is WHY Shirou sucks at Magecraft. During the scene we see Shirou practicing at home alongside Rin we hear her state that Shirou does not know how to properly establish a path. For a Mage, you could say the two traits that define their quality is both her mana amount and the quality of their Magic Circuits. As an analogy, imagine a water tank with a faucet. The tank stores the amount of magical energy and is replenished with time by the Mage's body. The faucet, however, would be their Magical circuits, the flow of magic their body can handle, for a better word, their output capacity. A bigger tank and a wider faucet would symbolize a better mage, the larger their total mana and the higher their total output. We can see this in the third Heaven's Feel movie, when Rin faces Dark Sakura at the Ryuudou temple's cave. Sakura had unlimited mana because of her connection to the Grail and Rin had access to infinite mana thanks to the Jeweled Sword from Zelretch. Rin there states that because their output are more or less the same, the two sisters are equally matched. Now as for Shirou, he does not have that large of a mana quantity, but his bigger problem is that he does not know how to properly use his Magic Circuits. What we learn here is that Shirou, EVERY TIME he uses magic, he's creating a new path, a new magic circuit (which the visual novel establishes that is a very difficult and somewhat painful chore). Imagine that every time Shirou wants to cast a spell, instead of using the faucet, he instead installs a whole new one into the tank, and never uses the previous ones again. This is because of Kiritsugu's lack of training of Shirou in how to be a proper mage. This means that, however small Shirou's "mana tank" is, he's been spending his whole life installing "faucets" that lay dormant. That's why, when facing Archer in UBW and clashing with him, his old magic circuits begin to open up and, when given mana by Rin , he becomes the strongest of the group. Shirou has a small mana capacity, but has been training his whole life in increasing his mana output cause he doesn't know how to properly use the same magic circuit again.
