You couldn't have put it into better words. This show really has a way of telling the story in such creative ways to the point that you gotta really take a moment to process everything that happened to appreciate the work and realise what makes this show hit so different. Fern has always been one to not talk much either way and she always has that resting b face but in battle it's even scarier cuz she's so unphased. Like how can someone remain so calm while being stabbed and staring death in the face... (she's looking at me from the thumbnail which is kinda scary now so imma stop typing)

2024-11-22 01:21:49 +0000 UTCThe thing I love most about this fight is that even though Fern is our protagonist, the whole thing is narrated from Lügner's point of view, while Fern is just silently firing off spells with a blank expression. It really gives the impression that, even though Lügner is a literal demon, from his perspective Fern is this terrifying, inhuman monster. It makes her feel genuinely intimidating, in a way that wouldn't hit the same if we could hear her inner monologue.
