Yup that's such an important dialogue and it gets more relevant as you get deeper into stay night. It's also so dope that they already showed us the moment between Kiritsugu and Shirou where Kritsugu says you can't save everyone yet Shirou will still try to no matter what

He doesn't care that he might die as a result. He values the lives of others more than his own." Stay Night really is a character study of Shirou, with each route focusing on a different aspect of him, and that description right there is at the heart of what the Fate route is all about. (Of course, there's more to it than that, but... you'll see.)

2024-11-26 13:01:07 +0000 UTCTo put it simply Medusa is what a grown-up/mature Sakura would be. If you want to know more about casual Medusa you should read Hollow Ataraxia or watch a playthrough on YouTube she gets a lot of screen time and character development in it.

Medusa vs Sakura.....that's so hard but I need to see how Medusa is while she's just chilling cuz I mostly always see her in combat so she's always locked in. For Sakura, we get to see her so much at home or chilling outside as opposed to being dark sakura and in battle mode. Sakura definitely the best waifu but if Medusa has a great personality too she easily wins.

2024-11-21 22:29:50 +0000 UTCSo Medua can't see with it on, she uses her other sense plus magical detection to perceive the world, think like the super hero Daredevil if your familiar with him. Her mystic eyes are always active but she can suppress them it just takes a lot of energy so its easier to use the blindfold. Also the blindfold itself is actually one of her Nobel Phantasms, Breaker Gorgon, as its not just a blindfold but a miniature bounded field that restricts magic which is how its able to cover her eyes without turning to stone itself, it basically works like Touko and Waver's Mystic Eye killer glasses. She actually gets a pair of them in Fate/Hollow Ataraxia as well as other spin off's So that was the Tsubame Gaeshi, it translates to Swallow Reversal which I guess reversal can also be translated as turning strike but like that's super literal. The old 2006 subs are low key wack sometimes. Medusa>Medea Real question for ya now, Sakura or Medusa? You want to what with her hair? It was Lancer, how could you mistake the man himself It was the mana, because Shirou is a shit mage he cant supply her with enough mana Also for clarification Shirou does not actually care that Saber is a girl her just does not want to see someone get hurt in front of him cause of his Hero Complex and is using her being a girl as an excuse. The big difference in the Fate route vs the others is that here Saber almost died in the fight against Berserker which does not happen in the other routes which is why in UBW and Heavens Feel you dont see Shirou trying to stop Saber from fighting. Saber and Shirou butting heads here only really happens in this route cause of this reason which is why you probably dont remember her being so confrontational. So far yeah this ep is definitely up near the top.
