That's a brilliant way of explaining this movie + I need to start leaving my room more often 😅

And one other thing. Fujino was obsessing at improving her art when she was in middle school because she saw how much better Kyomoto’s art was. And after years of effort when Fujino saw her strip side by side with Kyomoto’s and saw Kyomoto had already improved way beyond her, Fujino quit on the spot. And even though they became close friends, Fujino was still clearly trying to use Kyomoto for her talent in a manipulative way.

consider this in Fate terms.
Just like shirou always summons saber in stay night, Kyomoto is always going to art school. And just like how there are three routes in stay night, there’s the route where Fujino’s art prompts Kyomoto to leave her room, or stay in it.
The catch is, if Kyomoto didn’t leave her room the first time, then there would be no bond between her and Fujino.
It’s because of that bond and Fujino’s regret that she accidentally sends the single slip of the original comic strip under Kyomoto’s door in another time line, where she stays in her room.
Personally, I have a feeling that the Fujino who saved Kyomoto in the other timeline knew about the events leading up to her death in the original timeline. Because she happens to be jogging by a random art school in another prefecture right at the time of the original murder spree. And the moment Fujino meets with Kyomoto she offers to hire her as her assistant.
So, even though Kyomoto in the og timeline couldn’t be saved, her connection with Fujino saved her in the alternate timeline.
The moral of the story is: don’t be a shut in. you gotta leave that room.

FUJIno + kyoMOTO = Fujimoto. That’s why there’s so many references to his other works(mainly CSM).

Oh wow I actually did learn about that attack in one of the videos I reacted to which went over the many animation studios. So this was definitely based off of that especially the fact that the guy also accuses them of plagiarism..

This is adapted from a manga made by Tatsuki Fujimoto (Chainsaw Man author). The attack is a reference to the Kyoto Animation arson attack, where the attacker accused Kyo Ani of plagiarism.
