Yeah, although if all your looking for is a full complete story then all you need is those first two seasons so 50 episodes, which while still long is still in the realm of normal for an early 2000's anime

2024-10-26 15:44:55 +0000 UTCf you do end up wanting to continue the show at the some point the order is as follows Higarashi: When They Cry (2006) 26 Episodes Higarashi: When They Cry Kai (2007) 24 Episodes Higarashi: When They Cry Rei (2009) 5 Episodes (The first and Last episodes are fan service/filler but 2-4 are the epilogue to the main series) There is also Higarashi: When They Cry Kira (2011) which is 4 eps and is more fan service/ filler nonsense There is Higarashi: When They Cry Outbreak (2013) which is a one episode that goes back the the thriller aspect Lastly there is the sequel series that came out in 2020, millage may vary as its more controversial in regards to if people like the story, specially since it leans into the wider When they Cry Universe (Umineko, Ciconia which are VN's in the same world as Higarashi and have some recurring characters but are otherwise unrelated) Higarashi: When They Cry Gou (2020) - 24 Episodes Higarashi: When They Cry Sotsu (2021) - 15 Episodes
