2024-10-11 20:01:04 +0000 UTCNoticed how they're already in the fifth floor but at the end of last episode they were leaving the third floor after defeating Alice? They completely skipped over the fourth floor and Nero just states at the start "Well, that sure was easy". We're never shown who they face against in the fourth floor and never bring it up again. UNTIL Nasu revealed it in the extended material for the anime at an interview. Found the source on Reddit, https://imgur.com/fsppBRj Apparently, the foe they faced against in the 4th floor was Caster Tamamo-no-Mae, which is funny because Tamamo is another Servant you can play along with in the PSP game instead of Nero. When Hakuno is lying almost dead on the ground after the purge at school before the Holy Grail War officially starts, you're given the option of 3 Servants, a Saber (Nero), an Archer and a Caster. Keep in mind that their names are not disclosed when choosing. Funniest thing is that in the Extra universe, Tamamo is canonically Nero's nemesis, and they kinda do kinda not get along with each other and there's frequent bickering between the two. Nero just roasted Tammy there and called her a pushover (which she most definitely would not be).

For example, you've already seen Artoria being summoned as a Lancer in Camelot and Cú Chulainn being a Caster in First Order. There are dozens of different examples, f.e. Nero can also be summoned as a Caster, Medusa has been summoned as a Saber, Musashi is both a Saber and Berserker in FGO, there's a ton more.

2024-10-11 10:31:40 +0000 UTCNot all Servants qualify for multiple classes. As for them in regards to power, that is also incorrect. There are multiple factors that contribute to how powerful a Servant is, and while classes do matter, it is often only about when we are comparing different classes (be them between different Servants or a single one) that they matter. Some Servants can have only a single class and still be super powerful. Remember the First Hasan from Babylonia? He can only be an Assassin, yet it's undeniable he is incredibly powerful.

I'm guessing the one who would qualify for the most classes would also be more powerful perhaps?

Ok so Dead Face Time, so like Mr Info dump said the MC is not Hakuno Kishinami (which is the name of the MC from Fate/Extra the game as well as Sabers previous master in the show) he is the accumulation of the grudges, regrets, and hate of all the dead masters who lost to Mr. Info Dump aka the final boss of the original Fate/Extra game Twice H. Pierceman, with Hakuno Kishinami as a base. You can choose to be a boy or girl in Fate/Extra which is why despite the one in the show being a girl our MC is a guy since Hakuno's gender is up in the air. The enemy master Julius is also a Dead Face but a different kind of Dead Face The enemy servant the Berserker is Li Shuwen a real life martial artists who lived from the 1860's to the 1930's and was a master of the martial arts Bajiquan. He is also one of the most versatile servants from a summoning standpoint imo. He qualifies for Assassin, Berserker and Lancer, and can be summoned in both a young and old form for those classes. The young version is him when he was at his physical peak, the old form his when his discipline and technique was at its peak.

Okay, information time: Julius, the man the protag was trying to kill this episode, is the older brother of Leo, the final Master Hakuno fights in the Holy Grail War of Fate/Extra. Julius goes tot he HGW with the mission of killing every possible Master that would pose a possible threat to Leo's victory. The girl they mention that was Saber's previous Master was seen by you in the first scene of the first episode, during Saber's fight against Saver (Buddha). The man on white coat Hakuno keeps meeting from time to time is Twice, a character from Fate/Extra who was in the same situation as Hakuno in the game (I won't reveal what situation it is because that would be a massive spoiler for when you play Fate/Extra Record. The final room of the episode (the one from the post credits) is the Multimedia Room from Fate/Extra, a room used by Julius to spy on the Masters of the HGW and also by Hakuno when trying to save either Rin or Rani during the route split of the game.
