As someone who has never seen DBZ, I sure do know what Frieza sounds like because of how unique his voice is and now I can definitely hear it in Mayuri! As for Nemu, I actually totally forgot what Momo Nishimiya even sounded like cuz she was barely doing much in the anime xD but thanks for the info!! With all the other anime you've mentioned, I can only recognize Nobunaga cuz I love her design so much + persona which is a masterpiece but I haven't played it (I love their soundtracks!!!)

2024-10-05 17:55:29 +0000 UTCI didn't actually have any Voice Actor Trivia to share last episode, but since Squad 12's captain and lieutenant got some screentime right at the end of this one, I figured I'd see what else they've been in. Mayuri's VA has a very distinctive voice - he's best known for voicing Frieza in DBZ - but I couldn't see anything in his resumé that I know you're familiar with (apart from possibly a Naruto filler episode where he voices a cat mafia boss). Nemu's VA actually also voices Ichigo's sister Karin (and Lily from Orihime's Shun Shun Rikka) in Bleach, and you'll have heard her as Momo Nishimiya in JJK. Reading her resumé was a nostalgia blast for me though, she was apparently very prolific around the time I was first getting into anime. Fellow old-timers will know her as Kujikawa Rise in Persona 4, Shana in Shakugan no Shana, Louise in The Familiar of Zero, and Taiga in Toradora, among many other iconic characters. Oh, and she's also the voice of Oda Nobunaga in Fate/Grand Order.
