2024-10-03 04:19:53 +0000 UTCSo yeah all servants can go into Spirit Form, but when they do they cant interact with the world, this Archer on the other hand has the Nobel Phantasm No Face May King which lets him and his arrows become invisible All these Nude Nero shots about to give cryptic a heartattack lmao So like I said in a previous comment this is a sequel to what if you lose to the final boss in Fate/Extra (although with slightly different events to game) so the grail war they keep talking about and how things should be is that game. 2024-10-02 23:32:46 +0000 UTCOkay, so basically, in the Fate/Extra timeline, Earth is collapsing due to complete drainage of the Leylines, making plants and wildlife die out. Leylines are basically the planet's magic circuits (yeah, cause in Fate the Earth is a sentient being and has a will, which they call Gaia, blah blah blah). In the 2000's humanity finds the Moon Cell hidden within the Moon, which is basically a super computer that observes and compiles the entire history of planet Earth. You can imagine the Moon Cell as a giant Magic Reactor, which is nearly the same as a Holy Grail (in this case, the Moon Cell is MUCH more powerful than you standard Holy Grail). When mages found out about the Moon Cell, they put themselves in suspension and uploaded their conciousness into the Moon Cell, (you can compare this to the Coffin technology in Grand Order, but in this case is not used for Rayshifting, but to hack the Moon Cell. This is also why Masters inside the Moon Cell are called Hackers). Anyways, the Moon Cell has virtually recreated the entirety of the planet inside itself, which they call SE.RA.PH. short for Serial Phantasm. The plan is to use the magic energy stored inside the Moon Cell in order to restore Earth. The Moon Cell itself dictated that the one worthy of using it would be the winner of this Holy Grail War, which consists of 128 participants/Masters/Hackers in a 1v1 format for 7 floors. Each Master would summon a Servant and fight another Master to ascend to the next floor (Thus 128-64-32-16-8-4-2) Without spoiling too much, this is what WAS SUPPOSEDLY MEANT to happen. The events of the original Fate/Extra game take place around the 2010's this series is set beyond the year 3000.
