The list of the dead were the ones who died in the disaster. The two that Roxy met were two of Paul's old party members So I do get where Reudeus was coming from in his train of thought, as Eris' teacher he felt an obligation to get her back home no matter what, and hes lived with her for four years at his point, where as hes only known Ruijerd for a week or two at most. Although bringing a typhoon down on the city is definitely way to extreme I do get the sentiment at least, especially since he was backed into a corner, he wanted to take the easy way out. Also the betrayal he was talking about was killing someone as "Dead End" as that would add more fear to Ruijerd's name. Ruijerd is a fan favorite, hes the GOAT I definitely think part 1 is the weakest part of the show but its necessary for build up. I do think its worth continuing imo, although I'm obviously biased since its in my top ten, I love the story telling, the world building, the character development everything. There is definitely more action in part 2, its not every episode but there is a sizeable increase. As for the story the main goal is to get home for the rest of the season but its the journey there that is enjoyable. If you don't decide to continue I do want to thank you for giving it an honest and fair shot.
