Oh for sure. A lot of the jokes do pop up here but even a number of Today's Menu at Emiya's were direct scenes from Ataraxia

2024-09-20 03:23:11 +0000 UTCWell kinda. Not EVERY Variant. Lantoria and Bunnytoria don't as these two are more like the Goddess Rhongomyniad rather than Artoria herself. Castoria also doesn't though I think because she's a fairy from another timeline but she doesn't really display the same food loving tendency. And Saber Lily is a young Artoria and so it just a precious bean wanting to be a good king and knight. But yeah pretty much every other one is a big foodie with each having preferences.....unless it's Squirtoria (her summer form) because that one cranked up the gluttony up to 11 and it doesn't matter what food it is because they are all the best.

2024-09-20 01:42:10 +0000 UTCThis is extra funny because, in the original FSN, Saber wasn't craving food like crazy. She has a normal appetite pretty much like everyone else. The reason why her character has the 'always hungry' part built into, not just Saber herself but all the 15+ Artoria variants in FGO, is simply because: When Nasu was directing the voice acting for FSN, he saw Kawasumi Ayako (Saber's VA) happily enjoying her sandwich on the side. It was after that moment, that Artoria and her never-ending variants acquired this crazy appetite.

So a mix of fear for his life and also her going full Gordon Ramsey on his ass

In Hollow Ataraxia, Rin and Shirou discuss the topic of Saber having the Dragon Attribute (she has the literal heart of a dragon, don't worry about it) and start wondering how much like a dragon she is. The topic comes up about a reverse scale, which is a weak point every dragon has in some myths. So they devise a plan to find Saber's and see what happens. After some interrogation Saber mentions that she once went to war with an evil king who was known for cutting off the beards of kings he defeated, but since Saber had none (as everyone thought she was still just a young boy) he said he would cut off that ahoge/antenna lock of hair. Ever since, Saber has let no one touch it. Realizing that was it, Shirou restrains Saber long enough for Rin to grab it. This immediately turned Saber into her evil Alter form. Under the implied threat of death, Shirou and Rin were then forced to make endless hamburgers to satisfy her hunger, with Shirou holding back tears as he kept cooking while Rin had to keep making supply runs for ingredients all the while Saber Alter inhaled the things, demanding different toppings each time and staring daggers into Shirou. This is Canon
