Fate/Stay Night Visual Novel Bad Ending (UNCUT REACTION)

I'd honestly would like it if you could play/watch the gameplay without streaming but that's on you. It'll be much more understanding than being a little distracted during the stream. Asides from streams. I have a hard time getting used to them. Since I've only grown up with videos and all.

That's honestly really nice reactions and I would definitely want to see more of this! To answer the question, I personally don't mind a full reaction at all since it gives me another chance to enjoy it and it would be even better if you pause and talk about it. With that being said, FSN is still a quite long work to get into even for TM works, so like everyone else, I would also suggest starting with Mahoyo. It's shorter, linear with no choices or bad endings, and has arguably the best visuals of the genre. It would be easy to react to and for people to watch in general.

Excellent, I wondered if you'd get into any VN stuff. Kinda crazy isn't that the first ever bad end is easily the most horrifying? You should check Forest of no Return

I'd definitely be down for more VN reactions/playthroughs. FSN VN is good but due to being an older title it kinda lacks in the visuals compared to Witch on the Holy Night and Tsukihime remake. Witch on the Holy Night is probably the ideal one to jump into since it's shorter than FSN and Tsukihime plus it's on Steam AND it's a story completely new to you so it'll be a fun experience. Tsukihime Remake is only on PS4 and Switch atm so if you feel like playing this one instead you have to dig up your console.

witch on the holy night is also the shortest of the 3 and is linear, so you don't really have to worry about choices if you've never played a visual novel before. and while the tsukihime remake is visually good, it isn't as visually impressive as witch on the holy night. also i can say the remake is actually really, long last time i checked it was over 40 hours long if you're just doing the main story. and like 60 if your trying to get everything (also stay night is longer than tsukihime if you're just doing the main story at 60 hours, and 100 hours if you're trying to get everything lol). but really you can't go wrong with any of the VNs so i would say choose whatever works best for you.

Looks like I gotta check out Witch on the Holy Night instead πŸ‘€

That's a great review. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I started writing my thoughts and ended up with like 3 paragraphs, so bullet point summary to save you reading an essay: - I enjoyed this reaction, but it made me realise one scene of a VN is almost as long as an episode of an anime - Because of this, the pacing might end up being weird in a full reaction format, as some sessions would have very little happen - Fate/Stay Night is long, nearly 60 hours for all 3 routes combined, so each route would be the equivalent 3-5 seasons of 12 episodes of anime - Someone suggested Witch on the Holy Night, that might work well if you treat each chapter like a movie; it's 13 chapters, most of which are between 1-2 hrs (one is much shorter, one is a fair bit longer) - Tsukihime also has shorter routes, though I've not played all of them nor tried the remake so I can't speak with much insight on it.

I’d definitely enjoy watching a VN playthrough, but I’m not sure if you'd be up for reading through most of the dialogue. Maybe you could try the original Tsukihime VN as it’s fairly short. The remake only covers half the routes for now, and I don’t think there's a release date for the others yet.

I don't usually watch but playthrough/let's play channels unless you're doing a very short one like this. If you plan on play the visual novel, I'm down to see you're reaction the many parts that were cut out, like a lot of fun and horrifying stuff to read, I believe there's a few good jumps cares but not on purpose. If anything, you should play Witch on the Holy Night: because you'll feel like you're confused af as to one of the characters in the game. Voice acting and peak 3rd person narration. I did skip this on the full VOD stream past time so I'll come back to watch this, currently browsing in daydream land at the moment.

I need your honest opinions on visual novel reactions like do you guys enjoy those? Are they more enjoyable than anime reactions? Do you find it boring that the person checking it out has to read stuff in their head most of the time? Does the fact that there are no animations or videos bore you? There are so many questions I have and I really want to know your guys' thoughts so I can possibly do more of these since your entertainment always comes first!
