Yup, you made valid points. DS and Ufo made each other popular. Itβs a little frustrating that fate does not receive recognition it deserves (Eventhough the reasons mainly come from typemoon themselves like less offshore promotion, hard to understand for newcomers, lack of anime adaptations, old game)

2024-08-20 06:13:54 +0000 UTCIt's definitely true the success that Ufotable got thru fate & typemoon was remarkable but at the same time I do wonder if people would even be familiar with Ufotable if it wasn't for DS. At least for casual fans u know what I mean? Like before I got into Fate thanks to you guys, I only knew Ufotable from Demon slayer and thought they were just the kings of animation. But I guess this conversation leans more towards popularity rather than success. However, the popularity demon slayer got directly correlates with the success Ufotable has achieved as well. Let's not forget that if it wasn't for Nasu recommending Ufotable for DS, we wouldn't even be able to EVER experience even half or 1/10th of what Ufotable has done for DS. So in the end, all routes lead to Fate. Idek why I typed all this tbh π
