To explain the Tiamat thing, Merlin put the true Tiamat to sleep and Kingu connected the true Tiamat's power Potnia Theron to Gorgon so that when they defeated Gorgon it would wake the true Tiamat up

And yes Fujimaru has always been passive in the back just talking to people and following the doctor's orders 😂 so it's nice to see him getting offensive

Also, I think this might be the first time we see Fujimaru using offensive magecraft rather than just supporting from the back lines. It looked like one of the Laḫmu got hit by his gandr when he joined the fight in Uruk, and he was charging up another one to fire during the fight in Eridu before Quetz took out the Laḫmu he was aiming at. Feels like after losing two of his strongest allies and seeing civilians getting slaughtered around him, he's finally getting angry.

That's why Gorgon felt horrible looking upon Anna as she was her past self, and Anna felt guilty and not taking the flowers as she deemed herself accountable for all the deaths in Uruk. Kinda like Emiya/Archer time. Anna's weapon: Harpe, is not just any scythe that kills the immortal, it is the very weapon that Perseus killed Medusa with in the myth. That's why it is super effective against Gorgon. Medusa's other NP: Bellerophon in HF, or rather the horse Pegasus, also comes from the legend. It is said that after Medusa died, the horse with wings Pegasus emerged from the beheaded Medusa's neck. That's why you see Rider clamping her neck and splashing blood to summon Pegasus to perform the NP.

2024-08-14 00:45:06 +0000 UTCBasically if u didn't understand. Merlin had the real Tiamat trapped in a realm of dreams. Kingu shared the authority of Tiamat with Gorgon linking both of them together. After Gorgon died Tiamat also "died" allowing her to escape the cage of dreams and awaken. Gorgon was never the real threat.
