FGO Camelot Movie 2 (UNCUT REACTION)

THIS MOVIE HAD ME SCREAMING!!!

FGO Camelot Movie 2 (UNCUT REACTION)

Comments

Sing6 teaches player the real difficulty (Many players get Gawain PTSD), class advantage (berserker cant solve every problem), and card management (buster cannot solve everything //unless you have Mrs K and Mr O)

JAlterReignsSupreme

Yea I agree!! *I've never played FGO but love I'll support the movies forever 😭*

CrypticBoss

Babylonia is a complete adaptation. Camelot was cut a lot. Anyway, plot-wised, I think Camelot has a great revealed but poor in-game execution (the movie did great job portraying dramatic scenes)

JAlterReignsSupreme

These gifts were bestowed by Goddess Rhongomyniad. For example, without the gift, Gawain will be indestructible just only 9-12. But with this extra gift, he can summon a sun and becomes indestructible 24/7 as long as he wields Galatine. **In the 2nd movie, Gawain lost because his galatine fell. In the final duel with bedivere (the dramatic one) he picked a random sword on the ground. That's why the fight was in sunset.

JAlterReignsSupreme

Thank you for all this information 🙌 I really appreciate it!!

CrypticBoss

Ooo that would've been an amazing moment getting acknowledged by King Hassan

CrypticBoss

Holy shit this is info is actually so cool. My question is, how did these knights even get these gifts? Were they blessed by their king or did they always have it since birth? Thanks for taking your time to write all this btw 🤝

CrypticBoss

Nah Gawain fr got all my respect as u saw in this video. Bro is an absolute force to be reckoned with! Also free my boi Agravain 💀

CrypticBoss

Gawain really is an absolute gigachad. In F/GO, the boss fight against him is the first really hard boss fight in the game. Up until Camelot, you can win everything by basically just throwing your strongest servants at it. Gawain is the rude awakening that sometimes that just won't be enough. In fact, there's an interlude where a certain gyaru snek makes us relive our toughest battle for her amusement, and our subconscious picks the Gawain fight. Also, over 8 years later and Agravain is still not summonable even on the JP version of the game 😭

Okay, Cryptic, now that you've reacted to the the second Camelot movie, allow me to write a little essay to fill you in what these movies left out: 1: Artoria. So, as you've seen in these movies, this Artoria is not the same as Proper Human History we all know and love. This Artoria is her Lancer version, possessed by the Divine Spirit contained in her lance, Goddess Rhongomyniad. In PHH, Artoria was mortally wounded in her fight against Mordred at the battle of Camlann. Because of her scabbard, Avalon, those wounds would've healed, but because Mordred had stolen it before starting the rebellion that brought Camelot down, Artoria was left in writhing pain but still unable to die because of the Divine protection of Excalibur. It was only when Bedivere returned the sword to the Lady of the Lake that Artoria was finally able to pass away. In this timeline, Bedivere did not return her sword, so it is stated that Artoria grabbed onto her lance to try and stand up once more and, weak as she was, the Divine Spirit normally supressed within her lance was able to take control over her. 2. The Gifts: The Knights we see in these movies are kinda buffed. For Gawain, his Gift was called Nightless, which summons the sun the moment Gawain draws his sword. We saw in the first movie during the selection, that it was dead at night but when Gawain stepped up it magically turned daytime. As for Gawain, he was a characted originally introduced in the Fate/Extra timeline and he posseses a blessing called Numeral of the Saint, which makes him almost invincible while the sun is up. In game, this buff makes him charge up his Noble Phantasm twice as fast and gives him a huge permanent Defense Up. Tristan's Gift, Reversal, as it stated, reverses the weaknesses that Tristan had in life. As Trsistan was originally killed by poison, this Gift makes him permanently immune to the Poison status. In game this Gist also reverses his class advantages and disadvantages. (As an Archer, he'd normally be resistant and strong against Sabers and weak and resisted by Lancers, but this makes him weak to Sabers and Resistant to Lancers, and makes him do x1,5 damage to every other class except some Special Classes). Lancelot's Gift, Ferocity, is not explored during this movie. In game, it made him Debuff Immune and have him Class Resistance to every class except some Special Classes, same as Rulers, basically. Mordred's Gift, Rampage, is just kinda glossed over here. Basically, she's able to spam her NP every turn at the cost of her HP, so she basically has infinite mana but at the cost of consuming her own life. At her battle against Sanzang, she did not hurt her with her NP, Buddha Palm, it's just basically a defensive ability (even though in game is an offensive NP). Mordred basically offed herself by spamming Clarent so much. Sanzang's NP is not a suicide Np either, she was just so damaged she was gonna disappear anyways, they drained each other to the point of a draw. At last, Agravain, who DID NOT receive a Gift on his own volition. 3. The Knight's weapons and their abilities: Okay, this is getting kinda long so I'm just gonna speedrun shot through them: -Gawain's sword, Galatine, is a twin sister sword to Excalibur, also created by the Fae and meant to be a mirror to reflect the sun. This sword functions by being thrown into the air (we see Gawain do this in his fight against Bedivere). When the sun is reflected in the sowrd's blade, it is charged by intense flames that can turn anything to cinders. -Lancelot's sword, Arondight, is a sword capable of "extending" any cut it makes, being through air, liquids or solids. We see this in the first movie when Lancelot just grazed Arash's armor, but due to it's ability, Overload, it extended that cut through his whole chest. -Trsitan'd bow, Failnaught, originally a harp due to Tristan's love for music. When a string is played, a corresponding sonic slash comes out. -We did not gain any new information on Mordred's Clarent. -Agravain does not fight us and in fact is not an enemy in the whole game, just an NPC. He uses his Iron Punishment chains to enhance Camelot's knights (turning them from all three Knight Classes of Saber, Archer and Lancer to Berserker class enemies). 4. Cut content: okay this would take while to explain so I'm gonna try to be brief. -These movies excluded 2 relevant allies to our side: an Archer, Tawara Touta, who traveled along Sanzang and joins us at the same time as her; and an Assassin, Hundred Faces, who you'd know better as Fate/Zero's Assassin, the one who could make multiple bodies. Finally, and most important overall as this will be referenced further beyond (yes, even though these movies completely skipped over it), we meet Sherlock Holmes at the Atlas Institute, where the Tri-Hermes is originally supposed to be. A very important snippit we learn from this, apart from the true nature os the lance Rhongomyniad, is that Dr. Roman, is keeping a secret from us. -We see the resolution of Cursed Arm, which was originally to be killed by First Hassan because of the transgression of entering Azrael's temple in order to ask him for help. They originally agreed he'd be killed when the conflict ended. So, Cursed Arm survives the fall and King Hassan appears before him and through wordplay declared his debt was settled, so he survives. -72 Demon God Pillars: Okay, so in every Singularity from 1 to 5 we've had to face against some (sometimes one, sometimes several at once) tentacle-like monsters that are the King of Mages' minions, the Demon God Pillars. They're always attached to the Holy Grail and is what is technically corrupting them and creating the Singularities in the first place (yes, the anime adaptations completely overlooks what is a crucial point to the story). Anyways, when facing Ozymandias for the Grail before the assault to Camelot, Ozymandias tries to test our resolve and fucking fuses with the Grail bringing a super buff Demon God Pilar: Amon, the Gazing Star. When defeated, Ozymandias just casually reverts back cause it's also super difficult to corrupt him just like Gilgamesh because they're both HIM. 5. Changed content: Finally, a rundown of thing that were changed: -We first meet Nitocris at the desert when arriving at the Singularity and we save her from being kidnapped by Hundred Faces. We first make our way to Ozymandias' land before even building the car we see the crew using at the start of the 1st movie, finding out about the Crusaders and the Holy City and heading there. -Arash airlines: When the Assassin's villages are attacked Arash literally sends us flying over there by attaching a whole stone slab onto one of his arrows, 5 PEOPLE grabbing onto that and Arash shooting the arrow which send the whole crew fying. -Ozymandias did not bust the wall entrance to Camelot, Sanzang did, with her NP at the cost of her own life. Sanzang really never battles Mordred, we do. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Spectacular movie, Bedivere's loyalty always got me tearing up, the only thing I wish is that the movie showed there return to Chaldea where it was revealed that after Bedivere died he was able to be summoned by Chaldea as a proper Heroic Spirit. Also wish they kept in the scene where King Hassan/The Old Man of the Mountain acknowledged Cursed Arm Hassan after his fight with Tristan. But other than those two things I think it did a great job adapting the second half of Camelot for a movie format.

Jarm957

Kinda overkill cause movie had to cut out many things. but in the game, Camelot and Babylonia are on the same level tho

Clarification from start to end: 1. In one of an infinite timeline, Bedivere did not return excalibur to the lake even in his 3rd attempt, Thus making Artoria couldn't die. As Artoria also has Rhongomyniad, she was possessed by the lance and became 'Goddess Rhongomyniad'. She was now a divine spirit without a heart and a mindset of human being, and disappeared from the scene. As a result, Bedivere who returned to report his failure to return the sword to the lake couldn't find her. Bedi then wandered the Earth to search for her. He could not die due to the protection of excalibur. 2. In FGO timeline, King of Mages Solomon started the incineration of humanity. He threw a holy grail in Jerusalem to create a singularity. 3. Goddess Rhongomyniad who loves human (in her own divine way) noticed the human incineration plan and travel to this singularity (Transcend to fgo timeline). She used her power to establish a plan, to save humanity, by keeping pure, qualified souls in an archive to maintain the specie. She summoned her knights (servants) to aid her and use rhongomyniad to be 'Holy City Camelot' to perform 'Holy selection'. Unknowingly, Bedivere who was in his original timeline was also transported to FGO timeline. 4. Bedivere ended up in Avalon where he met Merlin. Merlin disguised excalibur into a prosthetic arm 'airgetlam'. 5. Chaldea crew after clearing previous singularities finally came. 6. The rest is movie1 and 2.

JAlterReignsSupreme

For Ozzy He used his NP to hit the protective barrier of the lance tower. The tower is actually the lance rhongomyniad itself that is protected by its divine light (Nitocris used her mirror to block the light). Rhongomyniad is also a divine construct on par with Excalibur. That's why ozzy had to make the sacrifice.

For why did king arthur orignially want die - In the folklore, it is just that. No details much. - In Fate: After injured by Mordred, her wish was to fix everything (you should remember from F/Z) But for spoiler reason, she finally resolve her twisted ideal, accept her death and the end of her realm. *The spoiler reason is explained in fate route of F/SN or 'Garden of Avalon' drama CD -Have you ever wondered why saber cannot change into her spiritual form in Zero or any SN route? -How did saber retain her memory of 4th war? -Why did in Zero she said she was back again at the hi'' of Camlamn?

JAlterReignsSupreme

I want to try something. For the people who watched Babylonia, please like my comment if you think it's better than the 3 first FGO movies combined. I won't like my own comment btw.
