It's not because it's bad or anything, but because it references everything else and the more nasuverse experience you have before FGO the better the FGO reactions will be imo

The EVA movies (4 in total) can be good as well. Otherwise, Mr. Miyazaki's work is absolutely art. Famous ones include Spirited Away or Howl's Moving Castle.

2024-03-14 22:33:27 +0000 UTCIf you want to keep going down the Fate and Nasuverse rabbit hole Garden of Sinners Movies If you want something different but popular there is the obvious Makoto Shinkai films (your name, weathering with you, Suzume, etc..) A Silent Voice/Koe no Katachi, and the Mamoru Hosoda films (Boy and the Beast, Mirai, Belle, Summer Wars, Wolf Children etc...) If you want something different but not super mainstream, a underated gem if you would I recommend Pomo the Cinnephile or Maquia

2024-03-14 22:27:37 +0000 UTCType-Moon related I would recommend The Garden of Sinners or start the FGO series with First Order. Non TM stuff I recommend Psycho-Pass or Sword Art Online. Completely different genre but both are relatively fast-paced with good action scenes.

2024-03-14 22:26:58 +0000 UTCI recommend going for the Makoto Shinkai movies just to have them finished, they are must-watch movies for every single Anime fan. Your Name, Weathering With you, Suzume no Tojimari. Other than the Makoto Shinkai movies Koe no Katachi is also a must-watch.
