2024-02-09 09:18:16 +0000 UTCFate/Prototype is really interesting. Was Nasuβs original concept for Fate back in High School. This is what we know: The MC is Ayaka who is very different from Shirou. She uses Black Magic, but is not good at it and eventually comes to use Formulacraft instead. Saber was actually male in this version. Proto Rin AKA Misaya Reiroukan was the Master of Lancer Gil was the Archer of that war as opposed to being from the previous war. He falls in love with Ayaka at first sight and actually proposes to her. Personality wise he is similar to the main gil but with the exception that he wants to prove undisputed that he is the strongest Hero and finds great joy in the battle between Heroes. That Noble Phantasm he used is called Enki and it summons the flood from the Epic of Gilgamesh which is speculated by many scholars to be the same flood in the bible. Rider was Perseus instead of Medusa and his Master was a 10 year old boy who was experimented on, so I guess the template for Sakura, The creepy dude you said looked like Caster was Proto Kiriei, his name is Sancraid Phahn and he is a member of the Knights Templar and is absolutely insane. He is the Master of Berserker who is still Hercules The girl at the end is Manaka and is Ayakaβs sister. She is Prto Illya and kinda Proto Kiritsugu? She was the winner of the previous war and Master of Saber and is obsessed with Saber. She supposedly died in the previous war but somehow comes back. She is actually considered one of the most dangerous human characters in all of Fate because she has a direct connection to the Root. She also tries to summon the Beast Class servant which is the beast of the apocalypse from the book of revelations in the bible. IInterestingly enough Fate/Prototype has a prequel novel series despite the OG Prototype never existing, it's really weird. Sorry for the wall of text lmao

2024-02-09 06:25:59 +0000 UTCSo Nasu is a huge DnD nerd so in the Visual Novel he makes character sheets for all the servants with Stats (Strength, Agility, Endurance, Mana, Luck, and Noble Phantasm), Abilities, and Alignment, etc.. that's where this list of abilities comes from for Archer. Masters have the ability to see these stats. Post the VN it has become a staple of the franchise so pretty much every servant has one of these stat sheets that lists their abilities.

2024-02-09 05:21:08 +0000 UTCWant to 2nd this that all this is correct, also wanted to add that since the Throne of Heroes, and the Counter Force are outside of time as long as one Shirou makes the deal with Alaya Counter Guardian Emiya will always exist so the Rin from CG Emiya's timeline most likely had CG Emiya as a servant since she has the Catalyst to summon him (the pendant)

2024-02-08 17:28:23 +0000 UTCAnd your comment about shirou and archer being different people you are right. It's the same thing between Shirou from UBW and Shirou from Heaven's Feel. The 2 are different people with different paths and thoughts, despite being the same character

2024-02-08 16:34:38 +0000 UTC(Sorry for the huge text lol) Archer timeline is similar to the first route, he and Saber won the war but he couldn't save her "heart". Probably in his timeline there was also his version from the future, but due to certain events that happened, his version from the future didn't have time to confront him. (The same happens in the first route with Shirou). Shirou from the first route arrives on a path very similar to the one Archer walked, but in the end he is saved by a certain character Shirou from ubw doesn't follow this path, since he had this confrontation with Archer and this time he has Rin to help him (unlike Archer who had no one) Heaven's feel Shirou: like you saw in the movies, he abandons this ideal of being a hero, so he discards any possibility of abandoning Sakura to follow this path. I recommend that you read the one-shot manga "Last Episode", it is the ending that you unlock after completing the 3 routes of the visual novel and it is also the true ending of the first route. Or if you prefer, there's a video showing this ending in the visual novel (I think it's about 30 minutes of video). It's one of the most beautiful endings in this franchise
