I celebrate every time I see Sakura kill Shinji, dude deserved a more painful death tbh. Some context stuff: For the arm transplant in the VN Archer takes Shirou to Kirei to do the surgery since Kirei as a mage excels as Spirit Healing. The process of putting a servant's arm onto a human should normally be impossible since servants are spirits and humans are flesh and blood so the souls would not mix. It's only possible since Archer and Shirou have the same soul and even then without the cloth seal it would probably kill Shirou. Also not sure if it was clear but the person Kiritsugu kept going overseas to try and see was Illya, he kept trying to break into the Einzerben Territory in Germany to get her back. It was supposed to implied by Illyas expression when she listened in but it definitely may not have been clear.

2024-01-28 03:01:06 +0000 UTCGreat reaction! Looking forward to HF 3 movie. Just to add to the depression, the three routes are parallel and they all had the same starting point. Sakura's 11 years' worth of suffering is present in all of the routes, Fate, UBW and HF. The only reason she did not become so expressive in the other two is because Shirou did not show as much affection and attention to her at the beginning of the plot. Saber/Rin then quickly came into Shirou's sight. Sakura, feeling inferior to Saber/Rin (Rin especially) and unworthy of Shirou's love, decided to keep putting up with this. From her perspective, Rin has always been the one taking stuff away from her, being the heir or the happiness, so the same thing is bound to happen with Shirou again. Therefore, she was just happy with what she had and never took a step further. It is precisely in HF that Shirou decided to pay extra attention to Sakura, making her feel that 'maybe this time it would be different'. For the first time, she had the private and selfish wish to be with Shirou and she was brave enough to fight for it. However, this wish was granted only to be broken again by the Matou family. The feeling of finally obtaining the happiness she yearned for a decade and then losing it and going back to the hell she has always been. This became the eventual snapping point and she is no longer holding back to all the grudge and hatred she has held for the last 11 years. So yeah... tragic.
