It is, show really leans into the concept with all the characters not having real names and instead are referred to by their title "Goblin Slayer" "Elf Archer" "Priestess" etc...

There is a typical hero defeating the demon lord story happening in the backround but Goblin Slayer dont care about anything but killing Goblins.
