Fever
Added 2019-12-07 11:11:35 +0000 UTCEstella couldn’t get of bed. She has fever and her head is exploding. She tries to sit up but she immediately feels so bad she needs to throw up. She is paralyzed and so sick she can’t even get up to drink or eat. Being home alone she calls the doctor. Her doctor says If it’s that bad she needs to call again in an few hours. Estella is frustrated and doesn’t feel taking serious. Her paralyzed is so warm it feels like an oven. Even her feet who are usually cold and burning.
She calls doctor again after 2 hours, and the doctor says someone will come by. Half an hour later the door bell rings and with the last bit of power left she lifts herself in her wheelchair and opens the door. Only wearing a t-shirt and nothing else. No panties, no pants, no socks.
A young man enters and wants to give her a hand but she hurries straight back to bed. He assists while she tries to climb back in. Her hot and half naked body is failing. The doctor takes her out the wheelchair and carries her on to the bed. ‘You are sick, let me help you’ he says. She barely says anything back and just mumbles something and agreeing. ‘I need to do some tests, just lay down and I will check you heartbeat’ the doctor says. He seems very concerned. Estella can barely keep her eyes open. She just sees this doctor standing next to her bed and notices he is quiet good looking. ‘Can You breath in heavily and out while I listen to your lungs?’ He asks while lifting up her t-shirt. She does as he asks. ‘They seem fine, good. Let’s check your stomach’ he says while putting both hands and on her belly and gently presses and feels if there’s something wrong.
‘I will subscribe some medicine and your fever needs to drops soon’ I will be back since you can’t go yourself in this state.
He pulls the blanket over her and gets her some water. ‘I will be back in an hour. Can I borrow your keys?’. Estella agrees and points towards her bag hanging at the door. ‘It’s the one with the flamingo hanger on it’ she says. The doctor takes the keys and leaves.
Estella falls asleep and before she knows it, the doctor is back. The door opens and a deep man voice whispers her name. ‘Are you okey? He asks while entering the room. ‘I fell asleep’ she replies while trying to hold back a yawn coming up. ‘Take the medicine and I promise me to drink a lot of water’. Yes? He asks. ‘Yes, doctor. Ofcourse’ she replies.
I will be back in two days to check. If you feel worse call me. And call someone to check on you every hour. Let them stay here because you can’t be alone in this situation. It’s dangerous.
You are paralyzed so this is unpredictable what will happen and you can’t risk falling while doing a transfer or something.
‘Yes, doctor. I will call someone right now’. She says.
‘Feel better soon and I will be back in two days’ he replies. ‘And keep your body warm!’
