Updating my PATREON page for 2026!

Hello supporters! For the first time in 7 years, I have updated my Patreon page with extra perks. Tiers and prices remain the same, and you get more content.

I'm throwing in a small sale if you're thinking of joining: during February, you can join for about a dollar off the first month.

Bronze tier: Updates to suggest and vote in polls for next covers

Silver tier: Guitar pro tabs are now multitrack with layers and bass

Gold tier: Mixing videos come with project file to get exact presets and settings

Platinum tier: Mixed stems and also unmixed stems and DI's to mix yourself

Diamond tier: No change except all the previous upgrades combined

Hi everyone. Welcome to my Patreon page.

I'm happy to announce that I'm updating my Patreon page for 2026: every tier is getting extra perks - more stuff for you, at no extra cost.

Before I get into exactly what it is, I'll take a minute to tell you why it is, and to extend a big thank you to everyone of YOU - who support, have supported, or intend to support here on Patreon.

I have been making these videos for about 8 years, and the Patreon page for almost 7. Your support is what has not only allowed these videos to continue, but also for their quality to increase. Thanks to your financial support, I get to spend as much time and resources as necessary to make something we can both be proud of. I hope you feel like that has been the case. And it's never too much to keep saying thank you for that. So thanks!

Well, a lot has changed in 8 years. Especially considering we are talking about financial support. And I don't mean changes in my life, I mean in all of our lives, in particular the financial situation of the world. What do I mean? Simply put, everything is more expensive now. So much so, that I bet some of you thought this "revamp" was going to involve pricing "updates" (literally UPdates) because that really is the pattern we've all been expecting from any service.

This post isn't an economics course, but I think it's important to explain it to understand the effects and the change it's going to have on my "business", and why you're actually gaining stuff for free instead of getting a price increase. 

Me, as someone who is feeling the same economic pressures I just described, is motivated - like anyone else - to secure more, in order to feel safer and continue to afford things. Now: as someone who provides a service, I have two choices I can make. You are very familiar with the first one: I would be raising prices on you. I would be providing the same value, but trying to extract more from you, and hoping that those who left because they couldn't afford it would be less than those who could continue to support. That's what most businesses have chosen - something which we definitely know as consumers.

If you know me, or my vibe, you knew I wouldn't choose that path. But what is the second choice? Well, I work harder. I produce more. And then I give more to you. Why does that work? I improve the quality of my service in order to incentivize those of you that ARE here, to stay (it confirms it's even more worth it for you to support), and that also incentivizes those of you that AREN'T, to jump in. Simple.

So not everything is bad about economics ;) And it's also just a great excuse to change and add some perks that you guys have always suggested.

So TL;DR: I work harder at something I enjoy, and you get more value delivered to you at no extra cost. Win-win. Sounds good? Then let's get into the new stuff every tier is getting.

BRONZE TIER

I look to give a lot of value in every tier, so that it would be worth your money just for the contents, even if your supporting me wasn't a goal. But the 3 dollar tier has always ended up the more symbolic, "I'm just supporting" tier. The new benefit should reflect that spirit. 

As such, for the 2026 update, I will start making updates include voting polls so you can shape the direction of the covers, when I feel like I need input on deciding. You are also welcome to add suggestions of your own. All tiers get the benefits of the earlier tiers, so every supporter on Patreon will get to participate! This one feels nice as a thanks for your support in all tiers. 

Bronze tier: includes channel update and voting posts.

SILVER TIER

As you know, I've always wanted my covers to have an instructional aspect by focusing a lot on the guitar playing, and that's why I've always given away a transcription in PDF format in the description of every YouTube video: so that everyone can learn the song. The 5 dollar tier has been for the guitar players and users of Guitar Pro - the software I use to create these transcriptions - to have that original GP file. This transcription used to be the rhythm guitar, maybe some key lead or clean parts in some places, and never the bass guitar which I usually just memorized. I will forever continue to give away that transcription in the YouTube video. 

But here on Patreon, for the 2026 update, I will start making the Guitar Pro transcriptions fully multitrack. This means the rhythm transcription will be complete as usual, and now whenever applicable, there will be extra transcriptions for lead / clean / extra rhythm guitar parts, and even bass (!!!), when I play them! I feel this is great extra value I can give, and it makes my transcription work more important and complete. Hope you make good use out of it!

Silver tier: Guitar Pro multitrack tabs for all covers, plus the previous tier updated benefit.

GOLD TIER

This has been the mainstay of the Patreon page. The mixing rundown videos where I run through the session in Reaper and show you what tracks are being mixed together, what's the processing I have on each one, and most importantly to me, what the mindset is behind my decisions when sculpting the sound. I was wondering how I could make this tier better by giving you something extra that would help you, so I took some of your suggestions - which I always incentivize you leave in the comments of every mixing video here on Patreon. 

One thing I am often asked about is the routing. Be it the routing structure on drum mixes (the way it's routed out of the sampler, and into different tracks and sub-tracks for different parts of the kit) or for some different techniques like side-chaining that require particular routing. Another thing that was sometimes suggested was that I share certain presets, like for processing or drums or synths, so that you can use or start from my particular settings. Well, I will be making both directly available to you together with the usual explanatory video! 

For the 2026 update, every mixing tutorial post will also come with a download of the Reaper project file. You will now be able to look into every processing chain, exact setting, and routing technique. You may not have the exact same plugins I have, but there's many that are more universal that we all share, and the mixing video is always there for you to know the mindset rather than the exact tool, and come up with your equivalent. The routing of course is always there in Reaper. I think you all will make good use of it! Note that this is just the project file, not the audio in the tracks. That's always been for the following tier, and I think you'll like what's coming there too.

Gold tier: Mix tutorial videos and project files for every cover, plus the updated benefits of all the previous tiers.

PLATINUM TIER

This tier has always given you the mixed stems and drum MIDI for every cover. This one will have the most added value in this update, espcially because of some extra changes that I'll be making thanks to Patreon's new infrastructure.

Historically, I designed this tier with a difference in relation to the others: all other tiers included every past tab or mixing video, but this one was only meant so that you got the downloads only from covers posted after you subscribed. This was for two reasons, the first one was that I was weary of subscribers coming in and getting all the past files they wanted and leaving. I have changed this stance long ago, I now think this is perfectly fine, and you guys know it if you've messaged me for any past downloads: I've always provided. And the second reason was that Patreon didn't have the file storage capabilities it has today, so I used another - temporary - file storage service. Now all past tracks are attachments on their respective Patreon posts, and you can go ahead and retrieve them. A nice update just by itself!

But there's more: for the 2026 update, I will be including the raw, unmixed stems for every cover as well. That's right, one of the most requested things on this Patreon page is coming! I believe this can be a great resource, giving you tracks you can practice your mixing on by making your own mix, comparing your tracks to my tracks and learning something from their sound or amount of editing, or combining this with the gold tier project file and having my full mix setup in your computer. I hope you enjoy it!

Platinum tier: Raw stems, mixed stems, and drum MIDI for every cover, plus the updated benefits of all previous tiers.

DIAMOND TIER

There's nothing much to change here, so, for the 2026 update, this tier gets all the updated benefits of the previous tiers. That's a bunch of extra stuff, and I'm glad that in this update, by design, the higher the tier you are in, the more free new content you get. 

I will also take the chance to clarify that I don't take in a lot of people in this tier. It works, I work on a lot of stuff with everyone there and even made good friends, but I will come up with a more professional way to offer lessons in the future. Back when I created it some 7 years ago, I was eager to take on students for monthly lessons! A Patreon tier was an easy way to set that up, as well as bundling it with a lot of extra stuff. So I keep this tier symbollically but rarely take on someone new. Now in the future, when I set up something for lessons, I'll do it in a different way. But they're still getting a lot of new stuff! So that's the update.

Diamond tier: One-on-one video chat every month, plus all the updated benefits of previous tiers.

Once again, thank you for all past, present, and hopefully future support you guys give me. I hope I can continue to give back more and more as time goes on. I see the covers continuing for a long time, but there will be other expressions of myself that I want to bring you in the future. Something really new, I hope. And it will be thanks to the support of today.
