SPIRITBOX - Fata Morgana (Mix Tutorial)
Added 2025-04-08 13:03:36 +0000 UTCThis is one where I'm very proud of the rhythm guitar processing. Considering my entry level 8-string, this tutorial I believe will be very applicable to those of you trying to get the best possible tone out of your guitars.
It's not that you would also grab the same stock Gojira tone and copy what I did here, it's that you'd learn why I made the moves I made. Because your song will probably not be in B0, and not be all tritone chugs that you need absolutely saturating your sides at all times. Those were MY conditions and I changed the sound to accomodate THAT. Hopefully you can take that mindset and change YOUR tone to YOUR needs!

Hey friend! It does, especially if you have cheaper headphones that aren't very flat on the EQ spectrum. I always used to use it before I got more expensive headphones, and I reccomend you try it if you can!
