Kaede visits Herman, a patreon character and also the guy who invented the 'death insurance policy' mentioned earlier in the arc.
She is then sent to investigate and deal with the alleged death of one of Herman's clients.
This leads the Hero of Death to encounter Arisha Nightriver, a twice-Ranked nosferatu bloodlord that had been around since the days of the Addams Theocracry. (also a patreon character)
Kaede learns that she and Arisha have a lot in common and, much to the horror of the entire nosferatu government, somehow 'inspires' the ancient noblewoman to leave her estate.
