2022-08-09 21:50:28 +0000 UTCFirst and foremost... I am so sorry that your daughter is feeling sick. I truly hope that her illness will pass quickly, and that it doesn't turn out to be any worse. Masquerade- I enjoy this episode a lot. I love both storylines and I also really grew to like Sofia too, despite her starting off being a real pain. As for Finch struggling with PTSD after his time being with Root... I really love how this is portrayed in this episode. It's certainly understandable that Finch would be afraid to go outside alone, where he could easily be caught by Root again, or worse... killed should she go ahead and decide he's too dangerous or no longer needed. And I especially love that Reese understands this is going on and is very understanding. Especially in the moment Finch calls him back to say he is unable to look after Sofia, and then calls on Fusco to protect her instead. I absolutely love seeing Reese take Finch out for a drink too so he can help him overcome his fear and show his support towards his friend. And I love the moment Reese talks to Sofia about how he was able to feel found again after being lost for so long, thanks to a close friend of his. I continue to love their friendship very much. And I love the moment when Reese talks to Sofia about how she needs a purpose so she can get through her friend's death as Finch is listening in, just like Finch had once told him back in the Pilot episode. Also... I love the interactions between Sofia and Fusco. Especially the moment when she calls him stud after telling him that he reminds her of her uncle. So sweet, and so funny upon seeing Fusco's reaction as he smiles smugly at Reese. :) And Bear is so cute!!! I love this dog so much. I love how awkward Finch is towards getting used to Bear being around, but I love how he does eventually come around to accepting him as the newest part of their little team. :) Also... I really love seeing Mark Snow and Kara again too, and love the mystery behind what they're up to. The plot thickens. :) And unfortunately, Hersh now has the chip from Alicia Corwin's arm, and he's about to deliver it to Special Counsel. Not good. Just what are they up to now?
