Earlier Jack sat with Richard in front of dynamite in the Black Rock, didn't go off, because Jack is a Candidate, touched by Jacob, to be his replacement. That was showing you the Bomb would not have gone off. Sawyer pulling the wires was his action, and therefore the bomb went off. Jack was right.

Also, the "I wish you believed me" phrase, it's what Locke wrote in his suicide letter to Jack, the letter that Jack had been trying to get rid of and then when it makes its way back to him and Jack finally reads it, the flash takes the plane to the Island and takes several of them to the past.
Jack then wakes up with the small piece of the letter, "...I wish.." and Locke's wish came true.
Way too many other references spoken throughout.
Jack was going by faith that he could not die by his own hand, like Richard, as we saw with the dynamite stick in the Black Rock, the stick just puffed out. Sayid finally dies saving his friends and away from the dark side, like Hugo thought possible, and he had already defied the Smoke Monster as we learned here he did not kill Desmond.

Yeah, Claire did want the adoptive parents to sing that song to Aaron, just like her dad would sing that song to her, she had vague memories of that before Christian stopped visiting her.
That song has been used several times in reference to Claire and Aaron. A creepy version is sung by Claire at the end of the Temple massacre episode.

Just don't forget to watch the combined version of the finale (17-18).
So close to the end...
