The living room was dimly lit. The glow of the television was casting shadows on the walls. Jane and Wallace were sitting on the couch. There was a bowl of popcorn resting between them. After a few years of dating, the couple decided to take the next step six months ago. They were now married.
They had just finished watching a show and Wallace decided to change the TV channel to see if there were interesting shows in the other TV networks.
Then, the screen stopped at Fox TV.
"Coming this December... the war for the throne continues."
Jane sat up, her eyes widened. She recalled something.
"Yeah, I just remember. Game Of Thrones Season 3 will be released this December."
Jane was the head of the makeup team in one of the production crews in Grey Pictures. Since Grey Pictures had two to three projects every year, they have a production crew for each project. Jane was under Kazir's production crew.
Although sometimes, she worked with other projects such as Game Of Thrones. In fact, Kazir already announced that he had no project for 2009.
Because of this, his crew members looked for other jobs since they were not like Kazir who was a billionaire. Jane and the others worked with Game Of Thrones Season 3 for the time being.
Wallace nodded. He was the vice president of Grey Fans and he heard about Game Of Thrones Season 3.
He reached for a handful of popcorn.
"I'm excited to see this show." He said.
Even though he had a close connection with Grey Pictures, and his wife was even working in the company, Wallace didn't know the exact contents of Game Of Thrones Season 3. Jane was quiet about it because she signed a non-disclosure agreement.
The screen cut to black before bursting into a montage of epic scenes.
Wars.
Dragons.
Swordfighting.
Daenerys stood before her army.
Jon Snow trudged through the snow.
A narration in the background.
A quick flash of Tyrion Lannister.
The music intensified, building to the dramatic final shot.
The Title card showed up.
Game of Thrones. Season 3. Premiering this December. Only on Fox TV.
"... This editing style, Kazir probably directed this trailer." Jane chuckled. She recalled that Game Of Thrones Season 3 had three trailers and Kazir directed one of them.
The promotion ended. Then it transitioned to a commercial about Doritos where a guy set a mouse trap but a human guy wearing a mouse costume appeared instead and started beating him.
"I guess we have to watch season 1 and season 2 as a recap. Thankfully, we bought the DVDs." Wallace said.
"Yeah, you bought the uncut version." Jane glanced at her husband and Wallace acted like he didn't hear a thing.
The uncut version was expensive but it had more contents. Furthermore, this version had nude scenes. Fucking sweet.
Jane found it awkward that her husband bought the uncut version of Game Of Thrones, especially when Jane was part of the production crew and helped with the filming.
In fact, she even talked to the cast and the fact that her husband had the uncut version was very uncomfortable. However, most of the nude scenes in the show were done by the body/stunt doubles. They just did a few edits to make it look like the cast did the nude scenes.
Anyway, she snuggled against Wallace after that.

...
Since the news that Kazir had no project for 2009 spread, the Big Six saw the opportunity to invite him to a possible cooperation.
Of course, Kazir didn't agree with their proposals. He was determined to relax next year.
The Dark Knight already lost its selling power but it grossed $1.01 billion. It was a success. Naturally, this success could be credited to Kazir's strong box office appeal. After all, Kazir had 6 movies that grossed over $1 billion at the box office.
Wanted
Spiderman
Pirates Of The Caribbean: Deadman Chest
Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End
Shadows Beneath
And now The Dark Knight
The Big Six couldn't imagine how a director could carry so many blockbuster hits in his filmography. He was like Midas who could turn anything into gold.
Because of this, even though Kazir had no intention of filming in 2009, the Big Six still couldn't help but fester him. They just had to, because Kazir's profitability was worth billions. They have to be shameless.
Every few days, another executive from a studio would try a different approach to convince him.
Some flattered him, some offered outrageous deals, others tried to beauty trap him, heck, someone even kneeled down and begged him... It was eventful.
But Kazir wasn’t taking their option.
However, Kazir couldn't deny that he enjoyed the attention he received... He was even amused when one of the executives from Walt Disney begged him. It was fun.
Perhaps Kazir was slowly turning into a tyrant? No one knows.
The studios were fine with him choosing the project he wanted to film. In fact, it would be amazing if Kazir used his own script.
Of course, it would be fine if Kazir adapted a novel or a comic book. After all, he directed The Bourne Identity and Spider-Man.
One of the studios who hoped that Kazir would work for them was Paramount Pictures. To be precise, they had been asking Kazir to become the director of Transformers. They had been festering the director since last year. That showed how they seriously need Kazir.
Paramount Pictures wasn’t giving up. Michael Bay was one of their first choices but his films lately were stale especially his last movie which was The Island.
Paramount Pictures was hesitant, because they knew that there was a better director. The studio wanted more. They believed Kazir could elevate this toyline into a true cinematic juggernaut of a franchise.
Unfortunately, no matter how much money and benefits they offered, Kazir was unresponsive. Money was nothing to him.
Well, this year alone, the money he earned from The Dark Knight was worth $300 million. Although this amount of money won't be paid a single time. It would probably take Warner Brothers at least two years before paying this amount full.
Usually it took a longer time to settle the account regarding box office shares but Warner Brothers and Kazir still had one last movie to cooperate which was The Dark Knight Rises. Warner Brothers didn't want to sour the relationship, so the faster the payment the better for both parties.
