Stella Willow had a cold expression as she strutted in the hallway. The way she walked was full of elegance and confidence. However, her cold demeanor was so strong that people were afraid of her.
She gritted her teeth, exhausted and lost. Working as the CEO of Grey Pictures was very tiring. However, she had no intention of leaving this amazing position.
After working on Grey Pictures, Stella Willow gradually reconnected with her ex-coworkers, some were even her bosses. Their reactions were mixed.
However, Stella recognized the envy and jealousy in their eyes. Unlike most of them who were stuck in their positions and slaved themselves into the corporate world, Stella reached the top of her career after leaving NBC.
Some of her coworkers even begged her just to get a position in Grey Pictures. If the person was capable and talented, Stella would give him a chance.
The reason why she didn't want to resign despite the stress was because of power. The pleasure of being a powerful person whom only a few people could trample. It would be stupid if she left the position of CEO to another person.
Even the Big Six had high respect for her because of Grey Pictures' strong profitability.
The authority she had was so addictive that she never thought of resigning.
Of course, there were also the cons of being a CEO.
The first was that the job was stressful. She had a lot of things to do and decisions to make. The company won't move if she doesn't participate. Her presence in the company was important.
She cursed at her boss who was gone most of the time... She had to shoulder most of the job because her boss was just a director who had no passion for business management.
The second cons of being a CEO for Stella was her love life. Her last romantic relationship ended a year ago. Since then, she has been celibate and had no sexual relationship with anyone. With her tight schedule, she couldn't find any man to date with. She was also not a fan of hook-up culture.
So right now, Stella was at the point of self-destruction.
Her position as the CEO prevented her from finding a good man, not just because of a tight working schedule. It was also because of her preference.
You see, being a woman, Stella wanted a man who had a better career than her. She didn't want to date-down at all.
She wanted a man who was richer, more mature, stronger, and smarter than her. That was her preference and everyone was allowed to have their own preference.
As for the men "weaker" than her, she never glanced at them at all. Her last man was the general manager of Alphabet and he was the best man Stella met so far in terms of career. Her past relationships were mediocre compared to what she had with him.
So yeah, Stella had a hard time. Even though she wanted to be the boss, it was a different thing when it came to dating.
She wanted her man to provide, take care of her, and gently 'man-handle' her... Whatever that means.
Her preference was:
She wanted a man who was richer than her.
Had a better career than her.
Tall.
Handsome.
Strong.
Healthy and has long stamina, for bedroom reasons.
A man who loves her the most. She should be his number 1 priority.
Gentleman.
Has a nice personality.
Respectable.
Ambitious.
Confident.
Has a nice long sausage... Again, for bedroom reasons.
For a woman, she had a nice list of criteria. Which I'm not gonna lie, most women had a lot of criteria that were sometimes downright outrageous.
Some women wanted a partner who had green eyes, only 2% of the world population had that trait... How the fuck can you make your eyes green? Use eye contact lenses maybe?
With that kind of preference, it was obvious why Stella had a hard time finding a man. There were probably a lot of men around her who were interested in her but she probably ignored them because they didn't fit her preference.
"Tch, that bastard. What the hell did he want to do this time? Why do I have to look for a person again?"
She clicked her tongue. Because of stress lately, she couldn't help but curse at her boss.
She reached the door to the meeting room and opened it with confidence as if she owned the building.
Then, she glanced at Kazir who was waiting for her. The man was scribbling on his storyboard, probably working on his project again.
Stella scrutinized and glared at him.
Suddenly, she realized something. Kazir actually fits most of her requirements for a boyfriend!
Kazir was tall, handsome, richer than her, confident, and a gentleman. Heck, she also heard that Kazir was packing down there!
Her pupils slightly trembled but she quickly lost interest. She returned to her cold demeanor.
Kazir was almost perfect.
But there was one thing that Kazir failed to meet.
Stella knew that Kazir loved making movies more than any woman. She would never become the number 1 priority.
That was a fucking red flag.
For her, the most important thing in a relationship is the utmost love for your partner. Kazir couldn't provide that 100%
She scoffed, then glared at Kazir.
"Um, excuse me? Did I do something wrong?" Kazir realized that Stella was in a bad mood.
"It's nothing, I just remember something. Anyway, let's start our meeting." The woman sat down and forgot about her spiteful thoughts. She was very professional. One of the reasons why she was fit for the role of CEO.
"Okay."
Kazir just nodded.

[Author's Note: I can't recall if Stella is married or not. Kindly comment down if she's married or not so that I can edit this chapter. If she's married then I'll edit this chapter and add that Stella is a divorced woman.]
