"Okay let's start the shooting!"
Director Grey announced and the set turned quiet. When filming, it was a standard procedure for the crew to shut their mouths.
.........
......
...
"I- I don't know what you're saying." Wesley Gibson (Ben Affleck), with a pale face, shook his head.
"Shoot the wings of the flies." Sloan(Morgan Freeman) glanced at the trashcan, indicating Wesley to prove if he was worth joining the notorious The Fraternity.
"Ah, I'm really thinking of something else--" Wesley immediately shut his mouth when he sensed a cold metal against the back of his head. The gun was ready to blow his head at any moment.
"Either you shoot, or I do." Said by the hitman behind him.
Wesley Gibson's expression turned scared--
"Cut!!"
.........
......
...
Kazir announced another cut and the filming didn't last a minute. The crew started talking again and the personal assistants of the cast approached the actors.
Ben Affleck knew that he made a mistake so he approached the director, asking for guidance.
"Ben, I have something to show you."
In this case, Ben Affleck knew that his status compared to Kazir Grey was nothing. He was standing in front of a talented director.
Ben Affleck knew that this movie was his moment to shine and he didn't want to lose it. The filming just started three days ago and Ben Affleck might be kicked out if he did any inappropriate things while on set.
Of course, Grey Pictures had to pay for the breach of contract, but the company probably had no problem doing that especially if Ben Affleck was not worthy of the role.
The reason why he got this role was because of his box office appeal. People knew more than the upcoming Orlando Bloom.
Ben Affleck seriously nodded as he watched his expression on the monitor... He didn't deliver it right.
"Ben, what do you think will happen if something like that happened in real life? If that happened to you in real life, knowing that with one trigger, your brain matter will splatter on the ground."
Kazir asked him gently. The filming was just getting started and there was no reason to scare the young guy... Erm, Ben Affleck was only three years younger than him.
Ben was 28 years old while Kazir was 31.
"I'll probably be scared and my heart rate will go high up. My face will turn red in fear and nervousness... I might beg for my life." Ben Affleck said, thinking deeply.
"Good, that's the normal reaction. In this case, Wesley Gibson is still a normal office worker. He never touched a gun and he has a depressed life."
Ben Affleck's current appearance reflected that. The man had an unshaven facial hair and his hair was unkempt.
Even his vibe was depressing. It seemed that Ben Affleck was seriously incorporated the role. As for how he did it, Kazir had no idea. He loved the dedication though.
"Try to move your eyes around, keep your breathing thin. I'm sure you can control your face to release some veins and make your face red."
This kind of acting was usually taught in acting class by controlling your breath... For sure Ben Affleck attended acting classes, right?
Before the filming restarted, Kazir caught Angelina Jolie stealing glances at him... Kazir slightly frowned but decided to keep his composure.
His job as a director was to keep the filming happening and take as much footage and combine it into a movie. It was not that simple at all.
"Shooting the flies, take 9, Lights, Camera, Action!"
The clapperboard signaled the start of the filming.
This time, Ben Affleck was performing better. Kazir didn't stop the filming and the scene reached the moment when Sloan passed a gun to Wesley.
"I- I can't even see them!"
"One... Two..." The hitman started the countdown.
With extreme nervousness, a pathetic grunt escaped Wesley's mouth and he pulled the trigger.
Wesley Gibson started firing bullet after bullet into the trashcan, hoping that a miracle would happen.
He was gasping after that and leaned against the wall. He looked for the medicine that kept his heart rate normal. He was going to devour a handful of pills to ease the pain.
While he was having a nervous breakdown, Sloan grabbed the flies and inspected them.
He passed the flies to the gasping Wesley and the man was stunned.
"... That's impossible." He muttered between inhalations.
"A lot of things are impossible for you before today," Sloan replied.
"Cut! Good job, this one is over!"
The crew members started clapping hands knowing that another scene was finished. Then, just like usual, they became busy.
The personal assistants of the cast approached their respective clients.
Ben Affleck thanked his assistant and gulped a bottle of water. He was sweating and exhausted. He really put his mind on the acting that he started sweating for real.
He was more on the action movie side of the industry but he could pull some drama movies if he wanted to, such as Gone Girl.
'But honestly... Ben Affleck should act in Action movies more. His appearance and aesthetic fit action movies more.'
In fact, Kazir heard that Ben Affleck was interested in auditioning for the movie Pearl Harbor which would be directed by Michael Bay.
It was a movie based on history, although Michael Bay romanticized the movie a lot that it became a love triangle...
Well, the movie was quite good and entertaining.
"You good?" Kazir asked Ben.
"Yeah, haha, I just feel like I'm getting better. I guess working with a talented director like you helps me."
Ben Affleck thought like he had a breakthrough in that moment.
"No matter how many times you praise me, I will still not increase your screentime."
The two guys started laughing.
